Good evening and welcome to the liveblog of PV Sindhu's second round match at the French Open Superseries. The World No. 10 faces the dangerous He Bingjiao, who is just one place below her in the current BWF rankings. The Chinese has troubled her all year but Sindhu did win their most recent showdown that happened at the Denmark Open Superseries Premier last week.
That should give the Rio Olympic silver medallist some confidence. Add to that, she should be absolutely rested with around 33 hours between her two matches.
Sindhu put up an impressive display in her first round match and did well to stave off a late comeback from Yip Pui Yin and win it, 21-9, 29-27. She would definitely hope to repeat that performance.
That's it from us, folks! Thanks for joining us. Good night.
