England batsman Ian bell has said that the dream to play for the country again is still alive within him and he is looking to start the New Year on a bright note, to increase his chances of playing for England once again.
"The dream is still alive and I have been told that the door has not closed. If I can start the season well then there might be a place," Bell told Cricbuzz.
With England set to tour Down Under for the Ashes later this year, Bell said that he would love to be part of that squad and bring his experience into play.
"I would love to win six (Ashes series) and that would be a dream come to true. I have the experience having played in Australia three times before so maybe that could be needed," he said.
