Mickie James' match with Asuka at NXT TakeOver: Toronto is expected to her only match, according to backstage talk in the WWE. Earlier this week, Wrestling Observer revealed that Trish was supposed to face Asuka for one match, the match in which Mickie James replaced her in the end, and the idea behind Trish facing Asuka was for Asuka to go heel.
The plan for Asuka to go heel could still be on the cards against James.
This week's episode of SmackDown Live is shaping up nicely with two huge matches announced. WWE World Champion AJ Styles will face Dean Ambrose in a non-title match while 'The eater of worlds' Bray Wyatt will face Kane in a No-DQ match.

Hideo Itami injury update
It looks like Hideo Itami won't be needing surgery on his latest injury setback. Itami will be out for two to three months after a taking a botched powerslam at a NXT house show which cause him with a neck injury.
The injury meant that Itami had to pull out of the Dusty Rhodes Tag-Team Classic where he was supposed to team with compatriot Kota Ibushi. Itami was replaced by TJ perkins.
