WWE NXT Spring Breakin' Live Results (April 23, 2024): A New Era in NXT with a massive title change!

FULL RESULTS FOR WWE NXT SPRING BREAKIN (APRIL 24, 2024).
ROXANNE PEREZ defeats Lyra Valkyria and Tatum Paxley by pin.
TONY D'ANGELO, STACKS LORENZO, AND LUCA CRUSFINO defeat Charlie Dempsey, Myles Borne, and Damon Kemp by pin.
JAIDA PARKER defeats Fallon Henley by pin.
SOL RUCA defeats Blair Davenport by pin.
LEXIS KING defeats Baron Corbin by pin.
TRICK WILLIAMS defeats Ilja Dragunov by pin.

The ref tries to hand the title to Trick but Ilja grabs it from him and falls down. He then hands it to Trick before hugging him and leaving the ring.

Ilja hits a German Suplex but Trick no sells it to hit a jumping knee for a close call. Trick hits his running knee for the telegraphed win.
Result - Trick Williams defeats Ilja Dragunov by pin.

Ilja hits a knee on Trick as he tries to get back in the ring. Ilja hits a deadlift suplex back into the ring. He hits an H Bomb before dragging Trick in the striking range from the top. He hits another H Bomb only off the top. Trick kicks out. Ilja goes for another H Bomb off the top and hits it but Iljabashes his hand. Trick kicks out again.

Trick flips Ilja off his back. The two fight behind the announce table. The Creeds take focus away by cheering way too loudly as Trick sends Ilja through the table with a Bookend/Uranage.

Trick blocks a move from Ilja. He powerbombs the Champ before mocking him with an H Bomb for a near fall. Trick then hits a Torpedo Moscow for another near fall. Williams goes for another move but Ilja hits a series of kicks and then a Death Valley Driver into the corner. The Champ clears the announce table for some carnage.

Both stars are atop the ropes. Ilja goes for a Sunset Flip over Trick but it gets botched somehow with Trick landing on top of Ilja and Ilja getting folded in two under him. Ilja recovers and powerbomb Trick. He then hits a Coast to Coast move for two.

Ilja slaps and chops Trick until he grabs Ilja's arm. They trade headbutts. The Mad Dragon hits a DDT and a Constantine Special for a near fall. The Champ hits a powerbomb and waits for a second, allowing Trick to hit a Capoeira Kick. Vic Joseph just dropped an O Town reference about it's "All of Nothing" tonight for Trick Williams. Ilja lands a knee to Trick's face before yelling randomly.

Priest also said 'How you doin' to Sarah Schreiber as she threw it to Byron Saxton with Trick Williams for the fourth time.

Nice to see the first time Ilja gets live screen time is an interview on his way out to the ring. Damian Priest wishes him good luck.

Night 2 of Spring Breakin':
Thea Hail vs. Jacy Jayne
NXT Underground - Natalya vs. Lola Vice
Ivar vs. Oba Femi
The Authors of Pain vs. Nathan Frazer and Axiom

A lot of the stars who appeared earlier in the night return to the live crowd to witness the main event first-hand. It's clearly being planned as Trick's coronation because there have been at least three segments about Trick's journey and zero about Ilja.

King chops Corbin's chest and hits him with a dropkick but it sends him into the ropes. His momentum helps him hit a clothesline and then a suplex for a two-count. King rolls out of the ring. Corbin chases but is blasted with a Superkick. He hits another one before rolling Corbin up. He puts his feet on the ropes but the ref sees it. Corbin takes advantage to hit a Death Valley Driver for a two-count. Corbin almost runs into the ref in the corner, allowing King to kick him in the groin. He adds the Coronation for the win.
Result - Lexis King defeats Baron Corbin by pin.

After Corbin controls the early stages of the match, King lands a dropkick to Corbin's knee. King then chops Corbin's chest and kicks his back. Lexis blasts Baron Corbin in the back of the head with a Lariat for a two-count.

Corbin decks King and throws him across the ring. He then sends him into the ringside barricade on the outside. Baron hits a Uranage into the top buckle for a near fall.

Up next is Lexis King taking on Baron Corbin.

Trick is backstage talking to his mother. They tell each other that they need to keep fighting. Johnny Gargano comes in to talk to Trick. Gargano says without pressure, there aren't any diamonds. He tells him to take the pain and loss and betrayal and use it for this moment in time.

Sol hits the Sol Snatcher off the middle rope for the win.
Result - Sol Ruca defeats Blair Davenport by pin.

Ruca goes for the Sol Snatcher but Davenport turns it into a German Suplex for a near fall. Sol goes on the barricade but Davenport pushes her off it into the steel railing. She then pulls the picnic table out away from the barricade. Ruca blocks a move before sending Blair (and herself) through the table.

Blair continues to use real weapons like the steel chair. She bodyslams Ruca through a surfboard on the outside. Ruca hits a springboard clothesline before using a boogie board on a moonsault for a near fall. Blair hits a Superkick and Ruca returns fire. Ruca hits a powerbomb for a two-count.

Davenport gets an actual weapon, a chair, from under the ring. Ruca moves out of the way and hits a facebuster into a kiddie pool. She then bashes Blair with a surfboard before standing on it.

Sol sets up a picnic bench but gets tossed into it instead. Booker then cherrypicks who he roots for again, championing Sol Ruca. Blair sends her into the ring post. Blair unloads several forearms before bashing her with a boogie board.

Sol comes down with a surfboard. She then puts Blair in a pool floatie before throwing a football and a dodgeball at her. Oh no, not the pool float.

Axiom and Nate Frazer then say they hate that they're coming back in and reset NXT to the way it was. Blade and Enofe then say that they hate how teams keep coming in here demanding title shots. The Good Brothers do the same mockingly before Enofe drops his mirror, thus leading to the mandatory seven years of bad luck.

Karrion Kross and the Final Testament address how if you don't have an army behind you or a miracle in your pocket, you are going to be hurting. They then target all the gold in NXT.

I think Jacy was trying to count here . . .

Ridge Holland arrives at the arena to say some words that Shawn Spears says aren't real. Ridge gets angry and Spears says that he should embrace it. He tells him to let those violent urges out. Holland declines to let them out. Up next is the Beach Brawl between Blair Davenport and Sol Ruca.

Shayna says Nattie's chances have gone from slim to none. Didn't Vice not like working with a partner before (Elektra Lopez). Shayna mocks Karmen Petrovic but Karmen drops her with a kick to the head. Nattie sends Lola off the mat into the random PC recruits around the ring.

Lola claims that she has the fastest hands in the division and her training partner will make them even faster. Out comes Shayna Baszler, who is only allowed to win a singles title in NXT.

Nattie mentions that she knew Lola had an ego the first time she ever met Lola. She says the difference between them is that she respects where Lola came from but Lola doesn't respect that she came from the dungeon. The crowd actually cheers for Nattie some rather than always cheering for Vice.

Nattie signs the contract. Lola comes out by herself. Booker tells Vic to shut it as Lola shakes her booty. She then signs the contract. She calls Nattie stupid for wondering who is in Vice's corner.

Ava is in the ring as if the NXT Underground match is tonight. Natalya comes out with her corner person, Karmen Petrovic. Who will accompany Lola Vice??? Hmmmm . . .

Before the next segment, Kelly Kincaid interviews JD McDonagh. He says since he's faced Ilja and sent him to the hospital, he doesn't think Trick has the skills to do the same. Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne then come in to give their two cents. Bate says Trick and Dunne picks Ilja.

Lola Vice has a vignette to basically say what she always says "I'm a better fighter" and "This is my ring" and that she's going to become a legend at Nattie's expense.

Jacy Jayne then cuts a promo to run Thea Hail down. She says that Hail should be kissing the ground she walks on and say thank you.

Fallon battles back with some strikes to Parker's chest. She bashes Parker's head into her knee before going to the ropes for a facebuster. OTM tries to grab her leg but doesn't. Parker throws Henley into the middle rope before hitting a side Rearview for the win. Did Henley piss someone off??
Result - Jaida Parker defeats Fallon Henley by pin.

Parker hits a few shoulder blocks to drop Henley. She locks Fallon in a Bear Hug but Fallon breaks out. She hits a Sunset Flip for a near fall. Jaida then locks in what basically is a side hug on Henley.

We got one entrance before the commercial then Henley's entrance and the beginning of the match during the commercial break. Weird spacing. Henley hits her sliding out of the ring punch on Parker before telling the rest of OTM to get back. She hits a Shining Wizard. Parker then hits her sit-down move in the corner.

Up next is Jaida Parker taking on Fallon Henley.

Vic Joseph adds that maybe the NQCC will 'pay up' since they lost to the Family. We then go backstage to Baron Corbin in the middle of a photo shoot. Lexis King interrupts to give Corbin a 'going away basket' since he's leaving NXT in the Draft. He mocks Corbin by calling him a 'pretender' before passively saying that Corbin needs another tag team partner. He calls him a toolbag before claiming that the beard isn't real.

Dempsey lands a Butterfly Suplex with a bridge but Stacks breaks it up. Luca and Stacks hit a Shatter Machine on Borne. D'Angelo pancakes Dempsey to pick up the win for his team.
Result - Tony D'Angelo, Stacks Lorenzo, and Luca Crusafino defeat Charlie Dempsey, Myles Borne, and Damon Kemp by pin.

Dempsey works on Stacks' leg with various locks. Kemp and Borne hit quick tags to land a dropkick/German Suplex combo for a near fall. Charlie tags back in and hits a Perfect Plex for a near fall. He transitions into a single-leg Boston Crab. Stacks finally tags in The Don. He tosses Borne and Kemp around the ring before blasting Dempsey with a Spinebuster. Kemp accidentally hits Dempsey with a stomp. Tony D goes for a move on Dempsey but Kemp breaks up the pin.
