WWE Draft 2016: Live updates

Here is a finalised list of draft picks for both Raw and SmackDown!

Stephanie McMahon and Mick Foley join the studio panel to talk about how Raw won the draft. What do you think?

Raw returns fire with Dana Brooke ( wasn't Vince high on her?) as SmackDown picks up Mojo Rawley from NXT!

Alicia Fox gets picked up by Raw as Erick Rowan goes to SmackDown!

Bo Dallas is backstage with Jo Jo and both Curtis Axle and Heath Slater are celebrating with him, thinking that all three of them got drafted to Raw. Oops.

It's good to see Daniel Bryan back isn't it? It's like SmackDown itself is an underdog babyface, with Shane and Bryan running the ship, against the entitled Stephanie's Raw brand. Should make for good stoylines

Bo Dallas gets his "rebirth", according to Corey Graves, as he gets drafted to Raw, with Eva Marie from NXT going to SmackDown!

Drafts continue as Braun Strowman goes Red and Breezango go to SmackDown!

Corey Graves says that Apollo Crews going to SmackDown is a good thing for him as "he got lost in the shuffle", and can finally express himself

Kalisto is interviewed next, as he seems excited at being drafted into SmackDown so that he can "get his revenge on Baron Corbin"

Raw picks up the World's Strongest Man, Mark Henry ( "Oh! Sexual chocolate" - Renee Young) and big news here, as Alexa Bliss from NXT goes to SmackDown

Next round of drafts, as the Dudley Boyz go to Raw and Zack Ryder goes to SmackDown. Summer Rae makes her way to Raw (we just got some sunlight bwahahaha - Booker T) and Apollo Crews gets picked up by SmackDown

We go backstage again, as Titus expresses satisfaction on being drafted to Raw, only to be interrupted by Darren Young and Bob Backlund! YOung says he will win against Miz at Battleground

Renee asks them about how Roman Reigns is doing. They answer with the usual rhetoric; big match up ahead, he's focussed, he's more hungry than ever...looks like the WWE is setting up a big victory for him at Battleground?

Corey Graves and Lita back on the panel, as they discuss if Lucha Dragons can survive on their own and how Jack Swagger was a sleeper candidate for the Draft. Booker T even suggests pairing Paul Heyman with Swagger( Please, NO!)

SmackDown gets Ascension next! Looks like 3 each this round.

Darren Young (w) Bob Backlund goes to Raw as Kalisto goes to SmackDown! Wait a second, I thought the Cuiserweight Division was on Raw? Raw picks up Sin Cara next as SmackDown answers with Naomi! Raw finishes the round with the addition of Jack Swagger!

Round 8 of the Draft picks is next!

Renee young plugs Golden Truth's merchandise, as the duo stake their claim on the WWE Tag Team titles, saying that all they need is an opportunity

Golden Truth is in the studio, as they talk about being drafted to Raw. Corey Graves and Lita have disappeared.

And he goes on to cut a heartfelt promo, saying that he may not be the best on the mic as he speaks 5 languages. But the language he speaks best is inside the ring.

Why WWE? Just, why? Give this man a push!

Cesaro is up next with Jojo, and he expresses dissatisfaction that he didn't get picked up in the top 10 drafts. He says that he's happy though that he made it to Raw, the flagship show.

We cut to backstage to interview Natalya, who brands Becky as a coward for viciously assaulting her. Cringe-worthy feud this has been thus far, and with both of them in SmackDown, it looks like this is going to continue. Yay, Christmas came early. -.-

Raw cleans up the 7th round of drafting with Paige joining their ranks

By the way, Booker T, Corey Graves and Lita are with Renee Young in the studio panel, or the Draft Centre, as they discuss everything WWE and get to round 7 of the Draft

Neville is interviewed backstage as he charts out his plans or his career going forward. For those who missed the draft (how could you ?!), Neville has been drafted to Raw

Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon rush into the ring to congratulate Dean Ambrose; the reigning, defending WWE Champion! The whole stadium erupts into Yes! chants as Ambrose(in a SmackDown! T-shirt no less) poses with his Title to close the show.

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to SmackDown Live!

Rollins nails the Superplex and instead of going for a pin, he goes for another Suplex which is reversed by Ambrose straight into Dirty Deeds! Ambrose 1-2-3! The Lunatic Fringe retains with a clean win over Seth Rollins!

Ambrose climbs on the top turnbuckle again, but Rollins cuts him off with a Superplex! Dejavu?

He follows that up with an elbow off the top rope to the outside, and takes out Rollins. They make it back into the ring at a count of 7

A much more even fight now, as Rollins gets sent outside the ring after Ambrose reverses an attempted Pedigree

Ambrose just can't seem to catch a break today, as Rollins is piling on him. But the Lunatic being who he is, just refuses to go away quietly as he explodes onto Rollins with a clothesline. Desperation move, but it seems to have turned the tide.
