CM Punk tweets video of WWE star falling down the stairs, former UFC fighter gets help from WWE

‘Best In The World’

- Even though the ‘ Cult Of Personality‘ is no longer part of the WWE, CM Punk makes it a point to keep himself connected with his former company in some or the other way, be it criticism or posting videos from the past.

Punk posted a hilarious video on his twitter handle this weekend, that features an incident involving suspended star Hornswoggle during former WWE star Curt Hawkins’s wedding that happened over the weekend.

In the video, Hornswoggle is being introduced to the well-wishers who came for the reception. As he made his way down the stairs, Hornswoggle lost his balance and came tumbling down. He was alright after the visibly painful yet hilarious incident. Below is the video of the incident posted by Punk:

Big E commented on the video by saying it was ‘not surprising’. Hornswoggle has been handed an interim suspension after the WWE conducted an announced surprise drug test on him while he was at home.

- From reports coming in, Evolve have signed former UFC star Matt Riddle and he is all set to make his debut at Evolve 49 and 50 to be held in New York. WWE and Evolve have forged a working relationship according to which they use the talent at disposal for a mutual benefit.

Riddle attributed the WWE’s role in landing him a job with Evolve and said, “I did a tryout with the WWE. The tryout went extremely well, as well as it could. The WWE was nice enough to set me up with EVOLVE to wrestle with them. It’s a process. From what I see it’s on the right track. It’s not like the transition I had with the UFC.”

When asked about his wrestling background, he said that he isn’t that bad when it comes to his in-ring skills. “I know what I am doing and I’ve been wrestling pro wrestling my entire life. I’ve had about 40 matches in the ring in front of a crowd, but I probably had a couple of thousand in the backyard, you know what I mean. I’ve been doing it for a while, just not at this level,” said Riddle.
