Conor Mcgregor Quotes

Like a Boss

Conor McGregor is never shy when he faces the media. He speaks his mind out and some turn out to be real gems. Here are the best of Conor’s quotes.

He is a very proud Irishman. And he meant it when he said: "We're not just here to take part — we're here to take over."

Conor came up with this one at the UFC 178 post-fight press conference, "I am cocky in prediction. I am confident in preparation, but I am always humble in victory or defeat." Scriptwriters, take notice.

"I’ll ride into favelas on horseback and butcher every man not fit to work.” Conor’s not so subtle dig at Jose Aldo.

"I didn’t have money before this. I was collecting 188 Euro a week off the social welfare. And now here I am, with like 60G’s bonus and then my own pay. I don’t know what the F’s going on to be honest, right?”

There are a million hilarious Conor McGregor quotes. But this one stands above the rest.

"Surprise, surprise, motherf***ers. The king is back.”

Never change Conor. Never change.

Conor Mcgregor Tattoos

Inked Champ

McGregor’s love for tattoos is well known and his collection of tattoos has been gradually increasing since he entered the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

First, it was a large gorilla on the chest, but most recently the Irish mixed martial arts star added a huge tiger on his stomach. But not all of the Dubliner’s tattoos have been quite so elaborate.

Long before he became a UFC star, the 28-year-old had some Arabic writing tattooed on the back of his left leg — which McGregor says was the result of an old holiday in Cyprus — but he’s not too sure what it actually means.

He said, “I don’t know. I got it in Ayia Napa. It was like a party kind of… I was young and on holiday. It cost me €20.”

Conor Mcgregor Girlfriend

Behind every successful man.....

McGregor, and his girlfriend Dee Devlin, have been together for eight years, long before his UFC stardom.

Conor admitted he was incredibly thankful to his longtime love for sticking by him throughout these everything. He said,”My girlfriend worked very hard throughout the years and stuck by me when I had essentially absolutely nothing.”

Devlin hails from Walkinstown in Dublin and like Conor, she is incredibly proud to be Irish. And the couple know how to celebrate in style, too. Recently she showed off a €30,000 Cartier gifted by her hubby on Instagram.

It is a match made in heaven.

Conor Mcgregor vs Nate Diaz

The poster for the mega rematch

After winning against Jose Aldo, McGregor decided to move up a weight division. He was scheduled to fight the 155-pound champion Rafael Dos Anjos but Diaz replaced an injured Dos Anjos and beat McGregor via a rear naked choke.

McGregor is not a guy to back down and he immediately asked for a rematch. The McGregor vs Diaz 2 headlined UFC 202 and they fought in one of the greatest matches in UFC history. McGregor had the last laugh, as he won via a unanimous victory. Both the fights took place at 170 pounds.

There was a lot of trash talk and antics by both the fighters. However, they congratulated each other after the match, thus burying the hatchet between them.

Aldo and Mcgregor

The McGregor-Aldo rivalry generated a great deal of interest from fans. McGregor was expected to face José Aldo on 11 July 2015 at UFC 189 for the undisputed UFC Featherweight Championship. However, Aldo pulled out of the fight due to a rib injury, McGregor remained on and was replaced by Chad Mendes for the interim featherweight championship.

Their rivalry generated a great buzz and they were involved in scuffles prior to the fight. At UFC 194, McGregor defeated Aldo by first-round knockout to become the UFC Undisputed Featherweight Champion and the first Irish-born champion in UFC history. The bout lasted 13 seconds, the fastest finish in any UFC title fight.

He ended Aldo’s unbeaten streak. And Aldo is keen on a rematch. Whether it happens or not depends on the future.

Conor McGregor’s fashion obsession is no secret. The UFC featherweight champion likes to kick ass and look good doing it. What has been a bit of a mystery, however, is just how much McGregor spends on his look.

While it’s still unknown how much McGregor drops on watches, shades, and street wear, a recent piece from TMZ sheds some light on his suit budget.

According to TMZ, who spoke with McGregor’s tailor David Heil, McGregor spends between $4,000 to $10,000 on each custom suit he orders, and he orders anywhere from 8 to 10 for every major media tour he partakes in.

He has a penchant for watches, mainly Rolexes and Audemars Piguet. A quick look into his Instagram account will give enough proof of that.

Conor McGregor Hairstyles

The 21st Century fashion icon.

Technically, McGregor sports an under shave hairstyle, which is similar to an undercut but the hair around the crown is shaved bald. This is the same for the sides and back. Sometimes, he slicks his hair back for a formal look.

However, he has changed his look throughout the ears. And he has the swag to pull off each of them. And on top of that, his beard gives him a macho look. He also rocked a ponytail sometime back.

In short, he is the epitome of everything cool.
