Jeremy Jackson is a former American mixed martial artist from California. He was born on September 19 in 1982 and lived the childhood in Garden Grove, California. Fighting out of Port Hueneme, California, Jackson's first professional MMA fight was on September, 2001 against Jake Shields in the Gladiator Challenge 6: Caged Beasts.

Jackson has fought in The Ultimate Fighting Championship, Kage Kombat, IFC, King of the Cage, Ultimate Athlete, World Extreme Cagefighting, Gladiator Challenge, Ring of Honor, and Total Combat.

He competed as a welterweight on The Ultimate Fighter 4, but was sent home before having a chance to fight after violating the rules of the show. Dana White, the President of UFC kicked him out after he violated the rules and snuck out of the house where the fighters were residing, to meet a female lifeguard from the local YCMA

Despite being ejected from the tournament, he was called back and Jeremy ‘The Scorpion’ Jackson fought Pete Spratt in the fourth season finale of The Ultimate Fighter. Jackson was submitted in the second round and that was the last act he did before being released from the UFC.

He was not to be forgotten though, and so we heard of him again, in a manner that many wished had not been so. On June 30, 2008, Jackson was arrested and taken into custody by the Ventura County Sheriff's Office. He was charged with multiple counts of burglary and aggravated rape of his Ex-girlfriend and held on $1 million bail.

Under the pressure of a massive pile of incriminating evidence and the threat of 60 years and more in prison, Jackson, against his lawyer’s advice pleaded guilty and A Ventura County, California. Judge today sentenced the ex-UFC welterweight MMA fighter to 25 years to life in prison for sexual assault.
