MMA News: Gadzhimusa “Deadshot" Gaziev predicts KO at Brave 2 main event

Gadzhimusa Gaziev against Carl Booth has been announced as the main event of Brave 2

Brave Combat Federation title contender Alan Omer was forced to withdraw from his Brave 2 “Dynasty” featherweight title fight against Masio Fullen after an injury in training camp. The main event has been updated to the highly anticipated bout between Gadzhimusa “Deadshot” Gaziev (7-1) and Carl “The Bomber” Booth (6-1).

After originally being scheduled as the co-main, this bout was moved to be the headliner. Both welterweights have the fight-ending punching power and both fancy their chances of a knockout victory.

Carl Booth has moved up the career ladder with impressive knockouts along the way. At the same time, Gaziev believes that he is also capable of dishing out serious punishment to his competitor. He said:

“There is no doubt that I will win. What is more interesting is Carl’s nickname, which is Bomber, sounds pretty funny, because he will receive a bombing from my hands while he’s lying on the ground.”

‘Deadshot’ had landed a punishing knockout punch upon the face of Thiago Vieira at Brave 1 and shocked the world with a first round knockout victory over the undefeated Brazilian. Nottingham’s Booth is on a five-fight winning streak and has finished five out of his six victims impressively, including Lebanon’s Jarrah Al Silawi in mere 39 seconds.

Both fighters are on crossroads at the Brave 2 card. Gaziev will be looking to make it two wins in two fights for Brave and insists that Booth will meet the same fate as his previous opponent.

Gaziev added:

“My last fight ended up in a knockout victory at the Brave Combat Federation and I expect a similar result in this fight.

I am absolutely ready for Carl Booth, I’ve been fighting for five years and training mixed martial arts for 16 years so you can be sure I’m ready for this and it’s my time.”
