UFC set to debut in South Korea this November

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has some exciting news for all the South Korean MMA fans. Yes !! the world's largest MMA organization is now staging a "Fight Night" event Seoul, South Korea. The event is set to take place on Nov. 28, 2015 at the Olympic Gymnastics Arena, it’s the same arena where the 1988 Summer Olympics was held.

There is no announcement of the matches yet. But the fans expect some of the local stars like “The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jun, Doo Ho Choi, Dong Hyun Kim,Yui Chul Nam and Hyun Gyu Lim to be on the card.

Here’s what the UFC Asia General Manager, Kenneth Berger had to say about the event:

"The UFC in Asia is growing at an impressive pace and this event in Seoul will mark our second new market this year. South Korea has some of Asia's best MMA athletes and this event is fully expected to illustrate just how powerful and technical these fighters have become. As usual we will bring a truly international fight card to the region, giving our loyal fans and those new to the sport a thrilling night to remember."
