One of the promising young talents in MotoGP grid, Spaniard Maverick Viñales has exceeded the expectations of all and caught everyone's attention.

The 20 yr old 2013 Moto 3 champion already showed great potential during his first year in Moto 2 last year, where he went on to win 4 races and 5 other podium spots, thereby finishing 3rd in the Championship standings.

The factory Suzuki Team who were returning to MotoGP Championship immediately captured Viñales for 2015 MotoGP season.

In 2015 season he has scored points in all the races so far finishing 6th in Catalunya (his and Suzuki’s best finish in this season) and stays 10th in standings with 57 points ,13 points ahead of experienced driver Aleix Espargaro.

Now Suzuki needs to bring on a seamless gearbox to improve the overall performance, although the overall package is very much to the team’s liking for now, given the fact that Aleix started from pole position in Catalunya GP.

Though Suzuki showed immense faith in young Viñales to bring him up to the premier class of motorcycle racing after just a year in Moto 2, it is still possible for teams like Yamaha and Repsol Honda to snap him up.

But if they try to improve the bike, Viñales could well challenge for the title charge next year given the fact he is quite a consistent rider.

Repsol Honda’s Dani Pedrosa has been struggling lately not able to perform at the level of Marc Marquez, so there is a slight possibility that Honda may have an eye on Viñales services for next season.
