The Indian Army Motor Sports Team, led by Lt. Col. Shakti Bajaj, is participating in the 14th edition of Rally Desert Storm that commenced from Rajasthan's Hanumangarh area on Monday.
The team comprises 14 members and seven vehicles.
The rally, organised by Northern Motorsports, an International Motorsports Body, is being held over 2,200 km in the semi-arid and desert terrain of Rajasthan.
The rally will traverse through the terrain of Rajasthan's Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Barmer and culminate at Jodhpur.
The Indian Army Motorsports Team is organised and trained under the patronage Army Adventure Wing of the Directorate General of Military Training of the Indian Army.
