Our punter, Steve Weatherford, was nominated for NFL’s Walter Payton Man of the Year Award, an award honoring a player’s volunteer and charity work, as well as his excellence on the field – and if you’re familiar with Weatherford, you’d know this nomination is very well deserved.

Weatherford launched the Steve Weatherford World Champion Foundation earlier this year. His foundation supports the many causes he’s a part of – The Boys and Girls Club of New Jersey, Wellness in the Schools, Second Chance Toys, Project Prom, Kicks for Kids, and more.

Just this month, Weatherford visited military families of the Boys and Girls Club at the Picatinny Arsenal, teamed up with Morris Catholic High School football players to take 50 underprivileged kids from East Orange, NJ on a shopping spree and this past weekend, collected toys for Toys for Tots at a local car dealership

We’re proud of you, Weatherford! Thanks for all that you do.
