Alexander Buttner

Alexander Buttner is a young, brilliant and talented professional Dutch football player from the Doetinchem Netherlands who currently plays in the highest level of league Manchester United. He started his youth career with Ajax and signed a contract with Vitesse. His first goal of the 2008–09 season was in a home game against FC Volendam, with Vitesse winning 3–1. During his time with Vitesse, Buttner appeared in over 100 matches and scored 10 goals. He has also played at the international level in Under-20 and Under-21 games. On 7 May 2012, Buttner was named in the provisional list of 36 players for the UEFA Euro 2012 tournament, as part of the preliminary squad. On 21 August 2012, Buttner signed a five-year contract with Manchester United. Alexander Buttner made his league debut on 15 September 2012, assisting the second and scoring the third goal, in a 4–0 home win against Wigan Athletic. He was also awarded the Man of the Match award for his impressive performance.
