Andreas Weimann: A Brief Biography

Andreas \"Andi\" Weimann is an Austrian professional football striker who plays for Premier League side Aston Villa. He started his career began at his hometown club Rapid Vienna, spend three years there and joined with English Premier League club Aston Villa in 2010. Andreas represented the club Peace Cup against Juventus, Atlante and F.C. Porto. In May, his name was in the Provisional squad against Blackburn Rovers for the final match and became the part of the Aston Villa team ,won the Hong Kong Soccer Sevens tournament in the same year, scored two goals and made his full league debut against West Ham United for Aston Villa. Thereafter he noticed by Watford signed him on a loan deal for the remainder of the seasons 2010-11, where he made his debut between Brighton and Hove Albion for Watford in the FA Cup. During the year Andreas signed a new contract at Villa Park until 2014. He has represented Austria at Under-17 and Under-19 levels and member of the Under-21 side.
