Anton Ferdinand: A Brief Biography

Anton Julian Ferdinand is an English football defender who plays for Queens Park Rangers. Anton\'s brother Rio Ferdinand, centre-back of Manchester United and England and cousin Les Ferdinand , Kane Ferdinand is also a striker and defender of Southend United. He started his professional football career at the age of nine joined West Ham United with a three-year contract in 2002. In the season of 2004-05, he was a part of the team which beat Preston 1–0, earning them promotion back into the Premier League and extended his contract of three-year deal with the club in 2005. In the year 2006 , he was arrested on a assault charges a fracas outside a nightclub in Ilford however. Thereafter , Ferdinand moved to Sunderland for an undisclosed fee on a four-year deal, then he signed Queens Park Rangers in 2011. Anton Ferdinand represented his country at England football team to Under- 18, Under-20 and Under-21 levels.
