Arindam Bhattacharya: A Brief Biography
Born on 20 May 1989, Arindam Bhattacharya was born in Kolkata, India and is a goalkeeper for India and ATK.
Early Life and Achievement
Arindam during his college life played for Surya Sen Club in Khardah.Later due to his excellent skills and technicality as a goalkeeper he got into SAI senior team in 2006.Due to his extremely well performances he was adjourned as the best goalkeeper in one of the Inter SAI Tournament held in 2004.
Debut
Arindam made his debut for FC Pune City against Kerala Blasters on 30 October 2014 at the home stadium Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Pune. On 7 November 2014 at Salt Lake Stadium in the match against Atlético de Kolkata, John Goossens suffered a very serious lower rib cage and paraspinal muscle injuries after a collision with Arindam in 78th minute.
Rise to Glory
Arindam successfully qualified to play for the very famous Churchill Brothers team in the year 2007.
He was adjourned as the best keeper in I-League after his brilliant performances which helped the Churchill Brothers shine with the trophy of the 2008-09 I-League.He came to the limelight during this time which Bob Houghton call him to be a part of the Indian National Team.
