Early Life

Brock Lesnar was born in Webster, South Dakota on July 12, 1977. He belongs to German descent and was raised on his parent's farm along with his siblings Troy, Chad and Brandi Lesnar. He attended college in Bismarck State where he won the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Heavyweight Championship.


He attended college at Bismarck college for two years before winning a wrestling scholarship from the University of Minnesota. In the year 2000, Lesnar won the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Divison I heavyweight Wrestling Championship. He ended his amateur career as a two-time NJCAA Champion All American, two time NCAA Champion All American, and the 2000 NCAA Heavyweight Champion with an overall record of 106-5.

During his first run in the WWE, Brock Lesnar developed an addiction to Alcohol and painkillers. The wear and tear caused to his body made him consume a bottle of vodka per day and lots of painkillers. Lesnar claimed not remembering two years of his life due to his addiction and mental exshaution.

Professional Wrestling Career



Ohio Valley Wrestling (2000–2002)


In 2000, Lesnar signed with the World Wrestling Federation and was sent to its developmental territory, Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW). Lesnar and Shelton Benjamin formed a tag team called The Minnesota Stretching Crew and won OVW Southern Tag Team Championship on three separate occasions.

Debut, Championships, and Goldberg (2002-2004)


On the March 18, 2002, episode of RAW, Lesnar made his debut by decimating a few superstars. Lensar's first feud was with The Hardy Boyz, which he won. In June 2002, Lesnar won the 2002 King of the Ring tournament and earned a championship opportunity at WWE Undisputed Championship at SummerSlam. At SummerSlam, Lesnar became the youngest world champion in the company's history, when he defeated The Rock.


Lesnar feuded with the likes of The Undertaker and Hulk Hogan over the months. Lesnar dropped the title at Survivor Series to the Big Show, when Paul Heyman turned on Lesnar. At Royal Rumble, Lesnar defeated Big Show and entered at No 29 and won. At WrestleMania, Lesnar defeated Kurt Angle to win his second world championship. After WrestleMania, Lesnar had several matches with Big Show, Kurt Angle and John Cena. Lesnar lost the title to Angle at Vengeance.

On the September 18 episode of SmackDown, Lesnar won his third world championship when he beat Kurt Angle in an IronMan match. After a few successful defences against Kurt Angle, Chris Benoit and John Cena, Lesnar lost the title to Eddie Guerrero at No Way Out.


Lesnar began his feud with Goldberg when he interfered at Royal Rumble, which cost Goldberg the match. Goldberg speared Lesnar during his championship match against Eddie, which cost him the title. The two met at WrestleMania, where Goldberg won. It was Lesnar and Goldberg's last match before they departed from the company.

NJPW (2005-2007)


After leaving WWE, Lesnar went to NJPW. He quickly won IWGP Heavyweight Championship in a triple threat match against Kazuyuki Fujita and Masahiro Chono. In July, NJPW stripped Lesnar of the IWGP Heavyweight Championship due to "visa issues". Lesnar kept the title and claimed himself as the real world champion. A year later, Lesnar defended the IWGP Heavyweight Championship in a champion vs champion match against Kurt Angle as the TNA World Heavyweight Champion. Angle won and Lesnar took a hiatus from wrestling until 2012.

Return to WWE, Feud with Triple H and Breaking the Streak (2012-2014)


Lesnar returned the night after WrestleMania and attacked John Cena. The two faced each other at Extreme Rules, where Lesnar lost. Lesnar returned and attacked Triple H. At No Way Out, Triple H challenged Lesnar to a match at SummerSlam. At SummerSlam, Lesnar defeated Triple H.

The storyline went on for months where Lesnar attacked members of the McMahon family. The two faced each other at WrestleMania 29, where Triple H won. At Extreme Rules, Lesnar defeated Triple H to conclude their rivalry. At SummerSlam, Lesnar faced CM Punk in a No DQ match, which Lesnar won.


In 2014, Lesnar returned to RAW to request a match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania. However, he got a contract to face anyone, and he chose the Undertaker. At WrestleMania 30, The Undertaker lost to Lesnar after 3 F'5s.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship, Various Feuds & Goldberg (2014-2016)


After defeating the Undertaker, Lesnar challenged John Cena for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam. Lesnar won his fourth championship, which lasted till WrestleMania 31, where he lost by cash in. Lesnar got his rematch at Payback but was attacked by The Undertaker.


Lesnar and Undertaker faced off each other at SummerSlam and Hell in a Cell, where they both exchanged wins over each other. Lesnar entered the Royal Rumble for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and lost due to The Wyatt Family. Brock Lesnar began a rivalry with Dean Ambrose, which he won at WrestleMania and Randy Orton, which we won at SummerSlam.


Lesnar challenged a returning Goldberg to a match at Survivor Series, which he accepted. Lesnar lost to Goldberg in less than two minutes at the event.

Universal Championships (2017-2019)


Lesnar challenged Goldberg for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 33, where he won. Lesnar was the champion for over 500 days and lost the title to Roman Reigns at SummerSlam. Lesnar won the title at Crown Jewel when Braun Strowman was attacked by Baron Corbin.


Lesnar lost the title to Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 35. At Money in the Bank, Lesnar won the contract and cashed in at Extreme Rules at Seth Rollins. Lesnar lost the title to Seth Rollins at SummerSlam. Lesnar challenged Kofi Kingston and won the WWE Championship on SmackDown.

WWE Championship and Return as the Cowboy (2020-Present)


At Royal Rumble, Lesnar was eliminated by Drew McIntyre, which began their feud for the WWE Championship. At WrestleMania 36, Lesnar lost the title to Drew McIntyre. Lesnar took some time off because of the ongoing Pandemic.


Lesnar returned at SummerSlam by confronting Roman Reigns and attacking John Cena. Lesnar began a rivalry with Roman Reigns. Brock Lesnar faced Roman at Crowl Jewel and lost. Lesnar is scheduled to face Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship on Day One.

In 2022, Brock Lesnar faced Big E, Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, and Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship and won. At Royal Rumble, Lesnar lost the title to Lashley. Later, Lesnar won the 2022 Royal Rumble match. At Elimination Chamber, Lesnar won the WWE Championship in an Elimination Chamber match. At WrestleMania 38, Lesnar lost to Roman Reigns in a Champion v Champion match.

On 17th June 2022 edition of SmackDown, Lesnar returned to WWE for the first time since WrestleMania 38. He dismantled the Bloodline immediately. Lesnar and Reigns faced each other at SummerSlam in a 'Last Time Ever Last Man Standing Match'. Reigns won the hard-hitting contest apparently bringing an end to their high-profile feud.


Brock Lesnar returned to the promotion on 10th October during RAW and attacked Bobby Lashley. On the 17th October edition of RAW, Brock Lesnar responded to Bobby Lashley's call. The two were engaged in an all-out brawl. On the 31st October edition of RAW, Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lasley were scheduled to be interviewed backstage. When the interview started, Brock made his way to the ring instead of being backstage for the interview. Brock called Bobby to the ring and the duo once again engaged in an all-out brawl.


At the Crown Jewel event, Brock Lesnar defeated Bobby Lashley in a very competitive contest. After the match, a furious Lashley applied the Hurt Lock. Lesnar then appeared on RAW XXX where he interrupted Lashley in his attempt to win the US Championship. At Royal Rumble, Lesnar entered the eponymous contest at number 12 but was eliminated by Lashley within 2 and a half minutes of his entrance.


Lesnar then faced Lashley at Elimination Chamber 2023 where he lost via DQ after he hit a low blow to Lashley and attacked the referee. On the February 20 episode of RAW, Lesnar was challenged by Omos and his manager MVP for a match at WrestleMania Hollywood. The following week, Lesnar made an appearance on the VIP Lounge with MVP where he hit him with an F-5 and accepted the match.

At the event, Lesnar beat Omos in around 5 minutes to book his first win at WrestleMania since 2018. The following night, Lesnar was revealed as the mystery partner of Cody Rhodes against Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa. If that match would have happened, it would have been Lesnar's first tag team bout in his second WWE spell (2012-present). However, Lesnar brutally attacked Rhodes before the match could begin. A match between the two stars was officiated on the April 17 episode of RAW and the two battled it out at WWE Backlash 2023.


At the event, Lesnar and Rhodes tore the house down and The Beast's head was busted open. After a bout that lasted about 9 minutes, Lesnar applied Rhodes in the Kimura lock modified it into a roll-up pin, and won the match. Lesnar was furious with the loss and gave another beatdown to Rhodes in the following weeks.


This lead to the announcement of a rematch between the two superstars. Rhodes and Lesnar collided at Night of Champions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia where he fought an injured Cody Rhodes and scored an easy victory. He then went on a brief hiatus before returning after Money in the Bank to accept a challenge laid down by Rhodes, thus setting up a third match between the two superstars, this time at SummerSlam.
