Bangalore Polo 2013 season calendar released

April 2013, Bangalore

Bangalore Polo Season and Agram Riding and Polo Academy (ARPA) have been synonymous since 2003, when the Army Service Corps Centre & College took upon itself the mantle of promoting polo in the Southern Peniusula. Spectacular and successful conduct of the polo season by the ARPA over the years has helped showcase Bangalore as a vibrant equestrian destination in the country.

The Polo Season is being conducted under the stewardship of Lt Gen RP Rai, Patron in Chief ARPA & Commandant, Army Service Corps Centre & College Bangalore. His love for horses and the sport in particular has given a boost to the event.

The Polo Season this year will witness four major tournaments. The endeavour is to give a chance to maximum number of players to participate in the tournament.

As many as eleven teams will participate in this season viz Army Service Corps, 61 CAVALRY, Indian Navy, President Body Guard, Remount Veterinary Corps, National Defence Academy, Armoured Corps Centre & School, Regiment of Artillery, Amateur Riding Club, Mumbai, Hyderabad Polo & Riding Club and Suneendra Sports Corporation, Hyderabad.
