The 2015 Callaghan Cup saw yet another day of one-sided results on Day 2 as four matches saw one team totally dominating proceedings at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack.
After losing on the opening day, the KISS team fought back splendidly on Friday, defeating the team from Bihar 25-0 and inflicting a second straight loss on them. The team from Tamil Nadu also opened their account in the tournament, beating the Kalinga RFC 29-0.
The Delhi Lions continued their victorious run in the competition, beating the team from Chattisgarh 69-0 to record the second heaviest defeat of the tournament so far. The Sgt Institute, who hold the record for winning by the biggest margin also won their second straight match, beating the Delhi Rebels 29-0.
Friday brought to an end the group stages of the competition and Saturday we will have the semifinals of the competition, with the KISS facing off against the Delhi Rebels and the team from Tamil Nadu taking on Jammu&Kashmir in the rankings semifinals.
In the Cup semifinals, it will be the CRPF taking on the Sgt Institute and the Delhi Lions taking on the Magicians.
