Specifications:

Heel height: 26mm

Toe height: 18mm

Heel-to-toe drop: 8mm

Asics FuzeX is a neutral running shoe that is ideal for road running. With an 8mm heel-to-toe drop, expect a lot of ground feel with this running shoe (just what we want in a neutral running shoe). A size 9 men’s shoe weighs around 295g. FuzeX offers a snug fit and adapts to your feet really well.

Regarding the styling, FuzeX men’s running shoe is available in three colorways. Two of them are very bright and we see one typical black/white colorway. There is much more variety when it comes to the women’s version of this running shoe. Asics stuck to its core design philosophy. So, do not much of a design innovation with this running shoe.

Coming to the upper, we see a seamless construction. This is a great thing for this allows for an irritation-free wear. This makes the FuzeX truly comfortable. The synthetic mesh upper material offers lightweight support. This material provides additional support at selective areas and helps in holding your foot in place. Like other Asics running shoes, we see a ComforDry Sock-liner with this running shoe. This anti-bacterial material reduces odor and moisture. Not only that, this also offers additional cushioning.

In the midsole, we see FuzeGEL. What makes this material unique is that it is a fusion of Asics’s iconic GEL cushioning system and the EVA foam. This fusion ensures that you have a soft and cushioned heel area along with a responsive forefoot. Solyte cradle in the heel area offers additional stability.

Asics introduced its traditional AHAR (ASICS High Abrasion Rubber) in critical areas of this running shoe. This carbon rubber material offers exceptional durability. Take proper care of the FuzeX and these running shoes will last for quite some time.

Overall, the FuzeX is an ideal running shoe for the everyday runner. The FuzeGEL cushioning system ensures that there is a much smoother heel-to-toe transition. Expect a much more efficient gait cycle with this running shoe. FuzeX could be an ideal match for you if you are looking for a shoe that offers a snug-fit along with great cushioning.

Asics FuzeX retails at $110 i.e., around 7,500INR. Asics also launched another version of the FuzeX called as FuzeX Lyte. FuzeX Lyte retails at $85 i.e., around 6,000INR.

Availability in India is TBA.

Bottom-line: As Asics claims, you run on the impulse with the FuzeX.
