Devils Circuit - The best excuse to take a break from office!

Devils Circuit 2015 Corporate
Strangers and coworkers become friends at Devils Circuit. Are you in?

The Hyderabad edition of Devils Circuit is just around the corner. And that means the mercury is about to shoot through the roof in the City of Pearls!

We’ve already told you how DC is a fun activity for all ages, for spouses and friends, and for kindred spirits coming from all over the country. Everyone involved can have a brilliant time, bond with each other, test their endurance to the fullest, and at the end of it all, party together.

Several participants have even said they went into the activity individually and came out of it with friends – such is the camaraderie at Devils Circuit!

But did you know it’s also a great team building exercise? The event is a great way to bond with your co-workers – even if you aren’t friends in office, you certainly will be friends after participating in Devils Circuit.

Helping each other

Trudging through mud, dust, deep water and heights, the contestants participate as individuals, but emerge at the finish line as teams. Yes, there’s a competitive, timed version and everyone wants to be the quickest to traverse the track. But everyone also helps each other on the way.

Random strangers become buddies who help pull their newfound friends out of the pit and move on to the next obstacle, even if they don’t have to – that’s teamwork at its best!

If participating in Devils Circuit can make friends out of random strangers, imagine what it could do to strengthen bonds with those you see in office on a daily basis.

Teamwork – the cornerstone of the modern corporate world

Teamwork is essential in the modern workplace – it ensures everything is running smoothly, and that the output is not dependent on any one person. Building relationships between employees is also extremely important; it makes the office less of a clinical, formal setting and facilitates greater interaction.

This is especially important when workplaces are divided into departments, where people may work together in the same office, but not necessarily interact on a daily basis.

A LOT of jobs today are desk jobs, and that brings with it a sedentary lifestyle and decreased physical activity.

That’s where Devils Circuit comes in. It’s quite a physically exerting activity, but it’s also a lot of fun, even for those who may not necessarily be fitness enthusiasts.

In fact, it may even be more fun for them!

Bonding with your co-workers

Different departments, different teams, different tasks in their cubicles – but when you swap the harsh lighting of the office for the baking heat of the sun, those relationships can be transformed.

There are no longer tags or designations – just friends navigating a tough circuit and trying to overcome obstacles to reach their goal. Just as they would in the office, in fact; except that the goals aren’t necessarily monetary, or even ‘tasks’ in the strict sense of the term.

Learning how to work together to overcome obstacles that are thrown one’s way is crucial to the workplace. And that’s brought out perfectly through the obstacles at Devils Circuit, which are designed to test you to the maximum.

Then there’s the giant, fun-filled after-party!

At the end of the circuit, you and your co-workers can relax after a hard day’s work – as you might do at the office. After the participants are done navigating the obstacles at DC, everyone’s treated to a big party right at the end!

There’s everything you could want to relax – good music, a DJ, plenty of dancing, and ice cold beer! Just as you’d let your hair down with your colleagues at an office party, you can do so at Devils Circuit too. With a small difference, of course; DC has all of the elements of nature to accompany you – which can make your bond with your co-workers stronger than ever!

Come back energized, refreshed, fitter and to a workplace where your co-workers aren’t just your coworkers – they’re your friends.

And did you know about the LEGENDS CUP? The fastest man and woman at the track on the day each stand to win a Maruti Swift!
