The Durshet forest marathon was truly a celebration of running, and was held at the picturesque Durshet forest lodge located on the Mumbai-Pune highway on the 1st of August.
The marathon saw various events:
- 32K Non-Competitive (no Winners or losers)
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K Non-Competitive (no Winners or losers)
Sportskeeda spoke to some participants on their experiences. One of the runners, Mr. Dhileeban, described the event as one of a kind, and one of the best running events he has been to. He found the trail and the weather perfect for running. The arrangements post run in the Durshet lounge were also great according to him. They had made arrangements for various adventure activities post the run.
