Specifications:

Heel height: 24mm

Toe height: 14mm

Heel-to-toe drop: 10mm

A size 9 men’s shoe weighs 176g. That is astonishingly light. 10mm heel-to-toe drop is a bit too much for racing flats. The shoe is true to its size and features a medium to narrow toe box. People with wide toe box should find this shoe a bit uncomfortable. This neutral running shoe is ideal for road racing. With proper technique, you could even run marathons with Nike Flyknit Racer.

Coming to the upper, we see a one-piece, overlay-free upper. The seamless knit construction is very comfortable and offers snug fit. You will feel almost zero irritation with this shoe. Dynamic Flywire cables provide added support along with an unparalleled fit. Not only that, Dynamic Flywire cables drop the weight of the shoe largely. Certain parts of the upper are woven close to offer better stability. For added comfort and breathability, Nike introduced a low-profile Knit tongue. Nike designed the laces to offer a customizable fit. This shoe will seamlessly adapt to any medium to narrow foot.

A full-length Phylon foam in the midsole offers not only lightweight but also resilient cushioning. We see Air Zoom cushioning in the forefoot area; this should offer a cloud like feel. Do not even think for a moment that this makes the shoe slow and unresponsive. The cushioning system in Flyknit Racer is highly responsive. The shoe offers great protection from the pavement but do not use these shoes for trails. Use Nike Terra Kiger 3 or Nike Wildhorse 3.

Waffle design on the outsole provides unmatched traction on multiple surfaces. Outsole durability is supreme, expect to clock long distances with this running shoe. Even if the shoe offers great multi-surface traction, the shoe easily gets wet during rains. This could be problematic to many people. It is firm and offers tremendous levels of stability. Arch support is good and you shall experience an enhanced gait cycle.
