The Nike+ Run Club hosted the second unique Nike Free Staircase Run at the UB City amphitheater in Bengaluru. This year’s Staircase Run witnessed a turnout of over 350 runners from the city. Nike+Run Club coaches Reeth Abraham and Sir Kothandipani conducted a 2,500 steps exclusive workout session to prepare runners for the TCS World 10K.

The course included obstacles designed to accentuate flexibility of the runners through the lens of the Nike Free- Nike's popular running footwear franchise. In the 11thyearof the popular Nike Free franchise, Nike introduces three evolved running styles: the Nike Free 3.0 Flyknit, the Nike Free 4.0 Flyknit and the Nike Free 5.0.

The session was followed by the Nike+ Runners’ Meet which is the first official runners meet of the TCS World 10K. During the meet, city’s thriving running community interacted with product education specialists, an inspirational speaker to receive injury prevention and nutritional tips to make this their best race ever.

The ‘race day tee’ designed by Nike will be available for runners to buy and is priced at Rs.1795. This limited edition race day tee is designed in a striking blue colour with the words ‘WE RUN BLR’ and the name of the race on the front.
