Three member Nepali shooting team including two players and a coach has left for Kuwait to participate in the 7th Asian Air Rifle Shooting Championship scheduled to be held from March 7 to 15, 2014.

Shooters Tikaram Shrestha and Krishna Bahadur Ghorasaini will compete in the men’s 10 m air rifle event in the Asian championship. Pradip Khati is leading the team as coach cum manager.

Krishna Bahadur Ghorasaini and Tikaram Shrestha were selected for the Asian event after they claimed top spots in the selection tournament held on January 1, 2014 collecting 574 and 572 points respectively.

National Sports Council and Nepal Shooting Association officials bade farewell to the Kuwait bound team.
