5 possible ways WWE could bring back CM Punk at WrestleMania XXX

CM Punk shocked the wrestling world on the night after Royal Rumble when he decided to walkout of WWE. Despite Punk being such a dynamic personality, no one was expecting such a swerve from him and both the company and the fans were left with a lot of question marks. Some concluded that Punk was tired of everything that went down back stage and quit while others claimed that this was another act of unprofessionalism from the former Indy darling. There were even rumors about him making a big return to TNA.But amidst all these, there was a ray of hope in the fans that he would make a big return at WrestleMania and make it all just a well worked storyline. Its a possibility that we could see, but if he does return how all could WWE book him? Here is a look at the five best ways.

#5 Becoming the Shield Leader

The last time we saw Punk, he was bashing out with Kane once the Big red monster cost Punk his Royal Rumble win.

Shield is now a face faction.

Punk didn’t really have a great team to work with the last time he had a stable.

He could tore down the Authority with the Shield

Once Punk has a long run, he could break up the stable and feud with the members.

Do we need any more reasons to make this happen? Bringing back Punk and making him lead the Hounds of Justice against Authority could turn out to be the hottest angle post WrestleMania. it will be a fresh thing for Shield also and could give life to their botched face turn.

#4 Confronting Steve Austin

Steve Austin is confirmed to appear at WrestleMania and there have been rumors in the past about Punk and Steve Austin having a match at WrestleMania. Though it won’t happen this year, the WWE could easily set up something for the future.

The fans will be high when Steve Austin gets into the ring to tell some words and they are going to hit the roof when Punk cuts him.

Punk and Austin could trade some interesting conversation which might end up in the two agreeing a match for next year.

Punk could also reveal his plans till then which would ideally be to take out the Authority which was making his life a hell.

#3 Aiding Daniel Bryan to win against Triple H

Punk returning as a savor of Daniel Bryan and screwing Triple H will be something which will win over the entire WWE universe.

Friction between CM Punk and Triple H is no secret among the fans. Punk and Hunter have had many tussles in the past and we were destined to see a match between the two at WrestleMania if it wasn’t for Punk’s departure.

So him returning and restarting the feud will only sound logical. Punk locking horns with Triple H will mark the end of Bryan’s feud with the Authority and he could be more involved with the title scene.

Punk meanwhile will be a worthy opponent for the Authority with his trade mark pipe bombs which is sure to entertain us.

#2 Vince McMahons addition to the main event

As mentioned earlier, Vince McMahon has been out of WWE for a ridiculously long time. We have started to miss the charisma that he bought into the feuds and frankly, Triple H is making a mess running the company.

So why not make it a storyline? Bring back Vince McMahon and make him reveal that he is unhappy about how Triple H booked WrestleMania. And to make things right, Vince could add Punk into the main event making it a fatal four way.

It could work wonders if Triple H wins against Bryan as Punk will be the only hope in between three heels. If Bryan wins, Punk addition makes things more unpredictable and we are sure to see a fair finish.

All possibilities look great with this and WWE could have a great champion on their ranks after Orton’s duck reign.

#1 Returning as heel against Daniel Bryan

If there is something that we could learn from Punk’s career, it’s that unexpected is synonymous with him. Making Punk return as a heel to take out newly crowned Bryan would go down in the history as one of the biggest swerves ever.

In a business where we saw Bret Hart forgive Vince McMahon, Eric Bischoff join Vince McMahon and many more, Punk returning to aid Triple H isn’t going to make the fans stupid.

And most importantly, it will benefit the company who will be struggling to keep the yes movement alive once Bryan wins the title. Having a top heel like Punk in the mix will certainly keep things interesting.

Since Bryan and Punk has a history of great matches, we are bound to see a spectacular feud if it happens.
