5 Storylines that could immediately improve the WWE

Vince McMahon’s WWE has been going through an ugly rough patch. The fans are clearly not happy about what they are being served in between the ropes and outside it. They’ve been incredibly vocal about the same and the company is looking in all directions for solutions. The answer for their questions however lies within the company itself. With the resources and the roster that they have at their disposal, WWE can easily deliver a product that will be worth watching. There are some incredible storyline ideas that the company could pull off at the moment so here is a look at those exciting prospects which might make WWE a bit more interesting and worthy of the well earned money that is spent by the fans.

#5 A Paul Heyman girl

One of the most puzzling things that the creative team comes across every week is their divas. WWE hasn’t yet found a credible way to book their ladies and it would be unfair to blame them as the talented names in the roster are limited.

AJ Lee and Paige have excelled both inside and outside the ring and they are deservedly running the top program while the Bellas feud is an add-on.

At the same time, NXT has a striving prospect in the form of Charlotte. She could give both Paige and AJ a run for their money.

And to make matters more interesting, Charlotte could be bought into the roster as a Paul Heyman girl since Heyman’s presence would take the division to a different level altogether.

#4 Wyatt Family 2.0

From the recent vignette’s it is almost sure that the Wyatt Family would be splitting up.

Luke Harper seems to be heading for a big singles push while Erick Rowan and Bray Wyatt are left with a lot of questions in their mind.

Separating Bray and Rowan would spell disaster for the latter and instead of splitting the group entirely; the company could just reboot the whole thing. With Harper gone, Bray would be looking to recruit some new blood into the family.

Ascension would be the best fit into the scenario as the team has been waiting for the right opportunity to march into the main roster. Ascension is sure to find success under Bray just like how Rowan and Harper flourished.

#3 Re birth of WCW

The utter failure of the Invasion angle is something that Vince McMahon would always regret. Though it had a lot of potential, the storyline got messed up to the core leaving a black mark in the history of the promotion.

Though it has been a decade after the death of WCW, many of the current fans still have a soft spot for the promotion.

WWE tried to bring back ECW to life a few years back and got a lot of financial boost. They could do the same with WCW and have a successful storyline in the process as well.

Sting could lead a new WCW invasion angle with some old stars and some others from NXT. SmackDown could be rebranded as Nitro to get more heat and the angle is sure to be a success since the roots are kept together by nostalgia.

#2 Beast tears down the Authority

Lesnar’s part timing booking might be costing the creative team a lot, but he still has a lot to contribute to the company. 2014 has been nothing short of brilliant for the beast and he has practically nothing left to achieve as a heel.

Lesnar turning face on the other hand would go down in the history as a best for business move. Dean Ambrose might be a good rebel against the Authority but he will only be in the picture till he gets his hands on Rollins.

Hunter has shown some friction against Heyman and if Lesnar wants to avenge for his advocate, it would be one compelling storyline.

Lesnar and Triple H have had many matches in the past but reversing the alignments would make the feud feel fresh.

#1 NXT Takes over

A major portion of the WWE Universe still sees the Nexus angle in high regard. The idea of some rookies coming into the main roster and tearing apart main event stars was a runaway success story until WWE decided to botch the climax.

There are still residues of the angle left in the roster in form of Bad News Barrett and Daniel Bryan and a similar angle with NXT superstars would make it must watch television.

Unlike the last outing, this time, WWE has seasoned superstars like Sami Zayn, Kenta, Adrian Neville, Kevin Steen and Fergal Devitt in the NXT roster at the moment.

A faction made up of such talented superstars will give the fans exciting fantasies and it would be an Indy Darlings rebellion inside the biggest cooperative in professional wrestling.
