5 Superstars who could make the Evolution reunion better

Just when the Hounds of Justice were starting to tear apart the Authority, Hunter rallied his old wolf pack back together to make sure that it didnt happen. The reunion was certainly something nostalgic and the fans are excited about the clash between past and future. A big absence however they felt was that of Ric Flair. He was a marquee member in their original run and even was their voice.Brining back Ric Flair in between the personal problems he is going through might not be a great idea at the moment but WWE could get someone into the group by addition of a new member. Some might argue that the current situation is suited for the trio, but the purpose of Evolution was to give upcoming stars some limelight. At the same time Batista will be taking some time off soon, which opens the door for a new member. So here is a look at some of the men who could make Evolution tick more.

#5 Drew McIntyre

A wild one to start with, but McIntyre is certainly a deserving one. He has been wasted as part of 3MB for a long time now and needs a big break.

He was once the chosen one of Vince McMahon and was getting a good push with him winning the Intercontinental title and holding it for 160 days. With such big backings, McIntyre was seen as a star of the future.

And a few years later, he is stuck with some jobbers who never had the resources to make it big.

What works of McIntyre is the fact that Hunter personally trained him back in the days, and maybe this was the reason he got the first push as well. Along with that he has the looks and skills to be a prime time player.

Mixing up with established names could work well for him and since Hornswoggle would complete the 3MB he doesn’t have to bother about it as well.

#4 Alexandre Rusev

Rusev has been impressive in his time at the main roster but is limited to squash matches. If WWE wants to build him as a top guy, they need to thrust him to bigger things.

He could well be the bought up like Batista in the original run. The problem however will be Lana. Apparently she is the only one who could control Rusev and she clearly has no spot in evolution.

If WWE could do something with her and put Rusev as the fourth member, then it could make a lot of sense.

With Batista ready to take a break, Rusev could take over as the power house of the group and even get some pretty big wins as part of the team. And after all this ended, WWE could easily break the pack and give him some individual feud.

#3 Bad News Barrett

Barrett has been hot since returning back to the ring, but is still miles away from being in the main event like he used to be with Nexus.

We all know that he has the caliber to be at the top level. And since he has the experience of leading a faction himself, no one is going to question if he ends up in Evolution.

He was also part of the team that took out Shield in the 11 against 3 matches which could be the foundation of the whole thing.

He however, would need to drop the “Bad News” thing since it’s not classy to be part of Evolution. The old Wade Barrett run could be bought back and WWE will eventually have a main event player in their hand once the group dilates.

#2 Dean Ambrose

Ambrose was born to be a heel. He was having a lot of fun during the heel run of heel and we came to see the maniac inside him burst out as well. Keeping the history of struggles that he has within the Shield it won’t be a surprise if turns on them and aligns with Evolution.

He could be just like Orton in the team, but the fact is he is even better than the viper.

Ambrose joining the Evolution will leave Rollins and Reigns who are more suited for face runs. Rollins in particular is going places as a face and WWE wouldn’t want to spoil that.

Being part of Evolution will turn Ambrose into a main event heel which is something that the writers could use in near future against guys like Daniel Bryan and John Cena.

#1 Roman Reigns

WWE dropped a big pipe bomb when they ended Taker’s streak at WrestleMania, Reigns turning heel could end up as something similar. It’s because everyone is expecting him to turn face and have a singles run, so turning him heel will be a jab right in the face.

Rollins and Ambrose having an all-out war against Evolution having Reigns will be something spectacular.

But the way in which WWE could make it work better would be at the end of Evolution. Reigns’ singles run will be more effective if he turns face in between Orton, Triple H and Batista and him breaking up with the Shield.

Reigns will have three big stars lined up as soon as he turns face which sounds good. The rumored clash against Triple H at SummerSlam can also be set up through this as Hunter would be keen to take out someone who turned against him in his own faction, just like what happened with Orton and Batista.
