Vince McMahon is arguably the most controversial and influential figures when it comes to professional wrestling. And throughout the years, he even manage to nurture an on screen persona which the fans learned to love and hate in equal measure.He have been a great addition to some major storylines for a long time now but Vince took a foot back recently and totally disappeared keeping the fans on their toes.WrestleMania was expected to be the place he was supposed to return but that didnt happen as well keeping the door open for numerous possibilities in the post-WrestleMania period. #5 Firing Triple H and Stephanie McMahon
Vince has a rich history of firing people that he doesn’t like. And after what Stephanie McMahon and Triple H did with his promotion over the last year he must’ve started to dislike them.
McMahon coming in and firing the Hunter and his wife to take over the control is surely going to make it to the headlines.
It will also give Triple H and Stephanie to take a much needed break and could even work on the background like Vince did all this time.
After taking the control from Hunter, Vince could make some big changes which the fans would love. Punishing the lights of everyone who was loyal to Hunter and pushing the ones who opposed would also be a big hit with the fans.
#4 Rallying the Shield against Authority
So the battle line between the Shield and the Authority has been drawn after Kane revealed that it was Triple H who ordered the hit on the hounds of justice.
Though, the trio is a worthy opponent to Triple H and his hierarchy, practically they are still three men who don’t have a leader. Over the history, every great stable that set foot in the ring had that luxury and against the Authority, Shield needs someone who could lead them.
Bringing back Vince McMahon and making the Shield his mercenaries will be a storyline worth watching. Knowing the direction in which his promotion is heading, Vince would definetly want to dethrone Triple H from the top.
Hiring the Shield to do the dirty work will be a typical McMahon move which makes it wonderful.
#3 Bringing back CM Punk
The love that Vince McMahon has for CM Punk is no secret. Even when Punk walked out of WWE, there were rumors that Vince was keen to get the straight edge superstar back.
It apparently didn’t happen in time for WrestleMania and the Punk chants slowly got buried thanks to the push that WWE gave to the upcoming stars. But in one corner of every fan’s mind, there will be a glimmer of hope that Punk is going to return sooner or later.
And when he returns what the writers could do is make it a double treat and let Vince McMahon introduce Punk back.
Since Triple H and his bad booking was the apparent reason why Punk left the company, McMahon bringing back Punk would give many possibilities that could be explored to the core.
#2 Announce the selling of WWE
The WWE stocks took a very nice dip recently and got all the top financial watchers buzzing. But before this happened there were rumors making that Vince McMahon is keen to sell the company.
AMC were also reported to be on their heels to get the deal done and it’s still up in the fence ready to fall either way. So why can’t the next appearance of Vince McMahon be a historic one?
An announcement that will change the face of professional wrestling forever, an announcement that the WWE no longer belongs to the McMahons. It’s going to be a make or break situation for everyone if it happens and Vince McMahon making his return for such a big thing will stamp his place in history as the most unpredictable man.
The chances are of this happening might be slim, but we never saw the streak coming to an end did we?
#1 WCW Invasion
The problem with the whole invasion angle that WWE pulled off after the death of WCW was that it didn’t have all those big names from WCW which the fans were expecting to see. And they didn’t even have a mastermind behind them that could’ve made things better.
What WWE could do now is reboot the whole thing with Vince McMahon as the WCW leader.
Why would Vince McMahon go against his own promotion? Because, Triple H is messing up WWE.
And why would this be the best time? Because, Sting is just a whisker away from signing for WWE.
Vince could easily form a team of former WCW talents and do the whole invasion angle again and make it a big hit with Triple H on the other side.
Sting’s return itself might be a great fuel for the whole angle and if WWE can get Goldberg in as well, its going to be a money make without any doubt.
