Martinez goes on the offensive as soon as hears the bell ring and is in no mood to stop the assault. Williams does try to pack a few punches of his own, but an ‘invisible’ left-hand punch by Martinez was too good to end the match.

The Argentinian, Martinez used all his weapons of speed, power and movement as he outclassed his American counterpart in the middleweight category.

Fortuna made Zamudio look like an amateur who made a terrible mistake of entering the lion’s den. Fortuna was all over his opponent and almost knocked out Zamudio within the first 90 seconds of the match. The Mexican boxer survived a scare, but moments later he was grounded thanks to a very powerful punch by the man from Dominica.

Considered as one of the fights of the year, it was a see-saw battle for most of the match as Matthysse and Molina Jr. exchanged blows reminiscent of an ugly brawl that happens over a petty issue in a neighbourhood.

It was Matthysee who was the last man standing as he was relentless and kept targeting the body and head with powerful strikes.

Pacquiao is arguably one the best boxers and the only man to win titles in eight classes. After both fighters had one knockdown each, it was time for an engrossing 6th round.

The man from Philippines uses quick striking, aggressive and an unorthodox punching technique. He tried to land a punch right on the Mexican’s face, but Marquez countered beautifully with an underhand punch that knocked Pacquiao out cold.

#1 Manny Pacquiao vs Ricky Hatton

Pacquiao was challenging Hatton for his 140lb title. Hatton was the No. 1 in junior welterweight and was beaten only once in his career before this match. Pacquiao’s quick moves surprised Hatton and a superb punch in the tale end of the second round sealed the deal for Pacquiao.
