2014 was a fantastic year on the women’s tour! Serena Williams returned to the top of the rankings after dismal performances in the first three Grand Slams. Eugenie Bouchard performed exceeding well at the Majors as she reached the semifinals or better in three out of four Grand Slams. Maria Sharapova improved this year and ended the season at No. 2, and we saw Simona Halep and Caroline Wozniacki showcasing some brilliant tennis.The year was full of new faces, fashion, glamour and of course new champions! This is Serena with tennis legends Martina Navratilova and Chris Evert who awarded her the trophy. Serena equalled Navratilova and Evert in the all-time Slam winners’ list by winning her 18th in New York.

Genie also turned heads when she attended the game between the Orlando Magic and Toronto Raptors in Toronto, Ontario and attempted to play tennis in heels!
