His tremendous presence has much to do with his larger than life body build. He created a stir the moment he made his debut. Though, his career went to jobber status because of his minimal wrestling or promo skills, he was still a great addition to many comedy- relief segments. #5 Debut

Taker and Khali

The moment he made his entrance to interfere in Undertaker’s match against the World’s Strongest Man Mark Henry, he had the audience’s attention immediately. His presence was striking especially because of the low angle shots and his manager Daivari standing right next to him who’s himself 5 feet 7 inches tall. Khali is known to be 7 feet 1. He looked mammoth.

He came to the ring and decimated Undertaker beginning Khali’s most well known feud.

#4 A Giant amongst Men

Yes, WWE made Khali squash Funaki but they also let him squash a fan favorite like Rey Mysterio. Khali was on a decimation barrage. He looked like a giant in front of giants themselves. He looked much more intimidating.

Even though he recieved his first loss at the hands of the Undertaker, it happened after weeks of tremendous build up.

There was a new giant in the WWE Universe and beating him was almost impossible.

Well, every Indian fan of wrestling must have been rejoicing whenever Khali talked. Khali almost always spoke in Punjabi and nobody in the American audience had a clue about what he was talking about. It would have been quite special to decipher something that nobody in the arena knows about.

That speaks a lot about Khali’s WWE run. Even when he seemed obsolete, he was an asset to the company because of his fandom in India. Many might have rejoiced everytime he did a bhangra with Natalya.

This may not be a milestone in Khali’s career but this is a list of the best moments from his career.It’s not every day that The Great Khali got a great reaction but this moment at the Royal Rumble in 2010 was great and perhaps the most memorable moment of Khali’s career since he debuted.

Beth Phoenix created history and became the second woman to enter the Royal Rumble.

Well, she had to kiss Khali before eliminating him because WWE can’t explain a woman eliminating Khali otherwise. Oh well!

#1 World heavyweight Champion

The Champ

This is the only championship Khali has ever won in the WWE.

Well, he wasn’t the greatest champion of all time but winning such a huge championship does create ripples all over.

He didn’t pin anybody. Actually before he won the title he was pinned by Cena and he was made to submit by the then-champion. He won this title in a 20 man Battle Royal because Edge had vacated the title sometime back.
