These are the players who had a great international career and post-retirement, they are busy serving different countries at the higher level in the dressing room as the support staff. Here is the best 11 member squad of the coaching staff involved in World T20 2016 in India.

#1 Marvan Atapattu

Marvan Atapattu

The batting coach of Zimbabwe Marvan Atapattu, was one of the best openers during the 1990's. His career lasted for 17 long years. During his career, Marvan played 90 tests scoring 5,502 runs at 39.09 with 16 centuries. He is the 4th player to score 6 double hundreds in test history. Marvan also has the distinction of scoring hundreds against all test playing nations. And not to forget, he was also a successful ODI player scoring 8,529 runs in 268 matches.

Under his captaincy, Sri Lanka had nurtured some of the youngsters like, Sangakkara, Malinga, Dilshan; who later ruled the Sri Lankan cricket. In an ODI against Australia, when Andrew Symonds was judged LBW by the umpire; all of a sudden, captain Marvan went to the umpire and told that there was a huge inside edge and requested to let Andrew continue batting. This incident shows the character of Marvan Samson Atapattu.

After his retirement, he served as batting coach of Sri Lanka, Singapore, Canada and England. He joined the Zimbabwean camp in 2015 as the batting coach. In this dream team of coaches, he might well be a solid opener.

As we all know, Shastri is one of the best commentators in the world and he took up this career soon after his retirement from international cricket.

In this team, he can be a good opening batsman and will be very effective with his left arm slower ones.

#3 Inzamam-ul-Haq

Inzamam-ul-Haq

One of the best batsmen with the simplest of techniques ever to play cricket, Inzy can be one of the best no. 3 for any team. Inzamam represented Pakistan for 16 years and was the backbone of their batting unit both in Test and One-day internationals.

Inzamam played 120 tests scoring 8,830 at an average of 49.60, which includes 25 centuries and the highest score of 329. In his 378 ODIs, Inzy managed to score a mammoth 11,739 runs at 39.53. He was a terrific leader for his side and was not a batsman who sat in his predefined batting position.

Inzamam was one among a few batsmen who enjoyed playing with the tail-enders. And when he joined the rebel league ICL, the all-Pakistani side Lahore Badhshahs had a dream run and were considered a lot more stronger than their national side. Inzamam took the job of batting coach for Pakistan in 2012 and in October 2015 he joined as the head coach for the talented Afghanistan team.

One of the most talented batsmen ever to play for Sri Lanka, Duleep Mendis was the one who laid the foundation for the team during its crawling days of 1980’s.

His numbers don't speak of his greatness having played just 24 tests for the national side scoring 1329 runs at 31.64 with four centuries and in 79 ODIs Mendis scored 1527 runs. We always thought that Duleep Mendis played in the wrong era for Sri Lanka. Had he played for any other national side, he definitely would have been one of the best in the history of cricket.

He was the team manager of the 1996 World cup winning Sri Lankan side and presently serving as the head coach of Oman.

Here is a surprising one. Ryan Campbell, 44, is the oldest player in this tournament. Former Australian wicket-keeper batsman served Hong Kong as the coach and later he was asked to play for their national team.

He had the opportunity to replace Adam Gilchrist in just 2 ODIs for Australia. He played 98 first-class matches and scored 6009 runs at an average of 36.41 and managed to score 11 centuries.

Since there is a vacant space for wicket keeper’s slot in this dream team, we have Ryan doing it for us.

Warnakula Surya Patubidhige Ushantha Joseph Chaminda Vaas was always a miser when it comes to bowling at the death. Commentator and former Australian cricketer Dean Jones used to call him "Dr. Death".

The man who holds the record for best bowling figures in ODI with his 8/19, is the bowling coach for Ireland. He was also capable of playing a cameo at no.7 and was very effective with both new and old ball.

His strike rate and averages in both the formats are in top 3 for the bowlers with more than 350 wickets. Waqar Younis had the knack of reversing a cricket ball which was 15-20 overs old. He had learnt this trick during his college days, and the world watched in awe as the pacer reverse swung the ball.

Currently, he is serving as the head coach for the Pakistan team, who were knocked out of the tournament in the Super 10s, but the 44-year-old will be strengthening our coaching staff XI with his toe-crushers!

He was a bowler who gave away very less amount of loose balls, especially during the first 15 overs in an ODI. His gentle outswingers kept the men behind the wicket very busy.

We all are seeing this tradition among the Bangladeshi fast bowlers like Rubel Hossain, Taskin Ahmed, Al-amin Hossain, Musthafizur Rehman; followers of their fast bowling coach from Zimbabwe. Streak can share the new ball and also do well at the depth overs in this XI.

They always kept the short leg fielder busy.

Currently, Ambrose is the head coach for the team, whom he represented with pride. His weird hair style gave him more popularity in recent times.
