South Africa defeated New Zealand in the final match by 62 runs and won the three-match one-day international (ODI) series by 2-1 at the Kingsmead stadium in Durban. After winning the first match comfortably, the Proteas were thrashed in the second match by 8 wickets. It all went down to the series decider, where South Africa didn’t leave a single stone unturned. #10 Hashim Amla\'s century

Hashim Amla’s emphatic century in the first match proved really important for the home team whose middle order failed miserably. The right-handed batsman scored a brilliant 124-run knock of 126 balls to give South Africa a solid start in Centurion. He was later announced Man-of-the-Match for his prolific performance. This is when he raised his bat and helmet to celebrate his century during the first one-day international match.
