Top 10 underrated players in FIFA 15

Recently, we analysed the most overrated players in the game and also we helped you identify the best young players for career mode. We now shift our focus to the top 10 underrated players in FIFA 15. Here are they:

#13 Toni Kroos (Germany)

Top 10 underrated players in FIFA 15

FIFA 14 rating: 84

FIFA 15 rating: 85

Toni Kroos has been amazing over the last 12 months. And since the FIFA 15 ratings are entirely calculated on the basis of your performances over the last one year, Kroos could have been rated 86 rather than 85. After winning the Bundesliga, he put in a great performance in the World Cup, winning the competition and thus moving to Real Madrid in the summer.

#12 Cesar Azpilicueta (Spain)

Top 10 underrated players in FIFA 15

FIFA 14rating: 77

FIFA 15rating: 79

The man who was widely regarded as the best full back in the premier league last season features on this list because for some reason, EA SPORTS generally dont rate full backs highly. Originally a right back, Azpilicueta was too good as a left back that he even managed to displace Ashley Cole at Chelsea. So he should have been rated at least 80 or 81 in FIFA 15, but instead the makers increased just two rating points.

#11 Thomas Muller (Germany)

Top 10 underrated players in FIFA 15

FIFA 14 rating: 85

FIFA 15 rating: 86

What else does Thomas Muller has to do in order to be classfied among the elite group of players in the game? The 24 year old has won everything, already has 10 goals in the World Cup and has been excellent for Bayern Munich, but received a very small upgrade. He should be rated 87 or 88 in the game right now.

#10 Arda Turan (Turkey)

FIFA 14 rating: 84

FIFA 15 rating: 84

The Turkish international had a rating of 84 in FIFA 14, but it wasnt increased for FIFA 15 which is quite bizarre. He had an excellent season, and it reflected in his clubs performances as well where they managed to reach the Champions League finals apart from pipping Real Madrid and Barcelona to the league title. Should have ratedhim 85.

#9 Sergio Aguero (Argentina)

FIFA 14 rating: 88

FIFA 15 rating: 86

Many people wonder as to why Sergio Aguero has actually been downgraded by two points after scoring 28 goals in 34 matches last season. In fact it should have been the opposite. He scored just 17 goals the season before, but was rated 88, but despite improving himself and winning the league title, he has been downgraded.

#8 Arturo Vidal (Chile)

FIFA 14 rating: 85

FIFA 15 rating: 85

Despite his injury troubles, Arturo Vidal has been improving. He is considered as one of the best players in the world right now in his position and put in a very good performance for Chile in the World Cup as well. He scored 11 goals and made 5 assists in the league last season and EA didnt consider him for an upgrade.

#7 Angel Di Maria (Argentina)

Top 10 underrated players in FIFA 15

FIFA 14 rating: 86

FIFA 15 rating: 86

How can Angel Di Maria only just retain his rating after the fantastic performances that he put in for Real Madrid where he won the Champions League title and was part of the Argentina squad that made it all the way to the finals in Brazil? Doesnt sound fair at all when you consider the likes of Iniesta being rated 89 despite the Spanish maestro failing with both Barca and Spain last season.

#6 Diego Costa (Spain)

Top 10 underrated players in FIFA 15

FIFA 14 rating: 83

FIFA 15 rating: 85

Diego Costa has definitely been given an upgrade, no doubt about that. But, it suddenly doesnt seem enough after looking at Van Persies rating of 88 in FIFA 15. Chelseas latest recruit found the back of the net 36 times in 52 matches last time and looks even more lethal this season. 86 or 87 would have made sense.

#5 Luis Suarez (Uruguay)

Top 10 underrated players in FIFA 15

FIFA 14 rating: 86

FIFA 15 rating: 89

31 goals in 33 premier league matches last season for Liverpool, Luis Suarez was definitely among the top 3 best players in the world during the 2013-14 season. Not that 89 is a bad rating, in fact it is a terrific rating, but still he was supposed to be part of that elite group of players who were rated 90 or above in the game. Right now only 5 players have been given that prvilege.

#4 David De Gea (Spain)

FIFA 14 rating: 82

FIFA 15 rating: 83

Lets face it, Iker Casillas is past his best, and when you compare his performances for Real Madrid and Spain over the last 12 months with that of David De Gea, you know whom you would pick in your eleven. De Gea along with Thibaut Courtois is considered the best young goalkeeper in the world and he should be rated 84 in the game, if not more.

#3 Yaya Toure (Ivory Coast)

FIFA 14 rating: 86

FIFA 15 rating: 86

Now this is a shocker. He arguably had his best season in a City shirt last term helping them win the league title. Being a Central Midfielder, the big Ivorian scored 20 goals in the league and was a towering presence in breaking up the oppositions rhythm. And despite his feats, he hasnt been given an upgrade which is totally unacceptable from the franchise.

#2 Andrea Pirlo (Italy)

Top 10 underrated players in FIFA 15

FIFA 14 rating: 86

FIFA 15 rating: 84

The only argument that could go against the Italian veteran is the fact that he is 35 years old. Buthe has been getting better and better as the older he gets. Even though EA SPORTS has honoured him by naming him the best free kick taker in the game, nobody really knows the reason why he has been given a downgrade of two rating points. If a 34 year old Xavi can be rated 86, then why not Pirlo?

#1 Cesc Fabregas (Spain)

Top 10 underrated players in FIFA 15

FIFA 14 rating: 86

FIFA 15 rating: 84

Cesc Fabregas at Barcelona in FIFA 14 is rated 86, but the same guy in FIFA 15 at Chelsea is rated 84. Something doesnt seem right here, does it? How can someone be downgraded after scoring 13goals and making 16 assists in his previous season? The rating looks even more sillier after the kind of start that he has made for his new club. The makers should have stuck with 86 for the Spaniard.
