FIFA 05, also called as FIFA Football 2005 received a boost because of it’s animation. The physical battles that players had with each other was more realistic than the previous editions. ‘Create a player’ mode made a return to the game in this edition.

This was the last time a FIFA game was released on six generation consoles. The animations and texture were refined a little bit, and some of World football’s biggest names were made to look exactly the same as they look in real life.

This game had the PS3 and Xbox versions with improved game engine that had superior graphics. ‘Be a Pro’ mode was introduced where the player plays as a single player throughout the match barring goalkeepers. 30 leagues and 43 national teams are licensed in the game.

A few tweaks here and there, with stadiums and crowds being more livelier, FIFA 09 was welcomed positively yet again, as a new Adidas Live Season feature was enabled. Also user controlled celebrations were introduced for the first time.

EA claimed to have sorted around 50 issues for FIFA 10 including changes to the gameplay. The game was the co-sponser of League One team Swindon town. The lush grass textures, shading and lighting had all undergone upgrades.
