A historic moment for pro wrestling in IndiaAfter months of heightened anticipation and countless changes, wrestling-crazed Indian fans witnessed a perfect blend of top tier and upcoming WWE stars in action in New Delhi. After the stupendous success on the first day – that witnessed a footfall of around 10,000, WWE looked to end their India tour on a memorable high. They did so by putting together a decent event overall. The crowds were electric as usual, with the fans firmly behind the respective faces and making their displeasure towards the heel vocally obvious. The final day saw Kane, Big Show, Rusev, Reigns and our very own Indian NXT rookies – Jeet Rama and Kishan Raftaar creating history. As WWE wraps up its time in India, we put together the best images from day two of the WWE Live event at the IGI stadium, New Delhi.

#1 Kane vs Big Show

The veteran WWE behemoths kicked off the night with a decent match – considering the limitations in their movement at this stage of their careers – that had the crowd invested in the action.

Kane defeated Big Show after Chokeslamming Big Show off the top rope. A good spot to pop the crowd and get things started. Kane, as expected, was quite over with the fans, whereas Show received mixed reactions.

#2 Kishan Raftaar and Jeet Rama vs Chad Gable and Jason Jordan

One of the biggest takeaways from the entire WWE experience in India, undoubtedly, were the in-ring debuts of our very own Kishan Raftaar and Jeet Rama. Day one saw both in singles action, but day two saw history being created.

Both the Indian grapplers teamed up to take on Chad Gable and Jason Jordon, which marked the first all Indian tag team in WWE history. The Indians won the match via submission amid yes chants that vibrated all around the arena.

#3 Charlotte vs Summer Rae

The Divas were the only blot in an otherwise spotless event, as the Divas Championship match between Charlotte and Summer Rae got the ‘This is boring’ treatment. The fans weren’t invested in the story the women were trying to tell, with the focus solely being on the Roman Reigns appearance later on in the night.

Charlotte defeated Summer Rae with the Figure eight to retain the Divas title.

#4 Ryback vs Bray Wyatt

Ryback and Bray Wyatt locked horns against each other in a good match. Where on one side ‘Feed me more chants were a norm, Bray Wyatt too had his fair share of support on the other.

Ryback came out on top against Wyatt with the help of a Shellshock.

#5 Tyler Breeze vs Titus O\'Niel

After putting on the match of the night against Dolph Ziggler the night before, Tyler Breeze went up against former tag team champion Titus O’Niel in singles competition. O’Niel made quick work of Breeze by putting him away in under a minute with the help of the Clash of Titus.

Breeze demanded a rematch then and there. Titus, being the tough guy he is, came back to the ring and defeated Breeze again in a brief match.

#6 New Day vs The Usos and Dolph Ziggler

The tag team match of the night saw champions New Day take on the team of The Usos and Ziggler. Given the talent involved, the match was entertaining from bell to bell with a crowd popping finish.

Xavier Woods was Superkicked in succession by both the Usos and Ziggler that laid him out completely. The Usos and Ziggler went on to pick up the win to the delight of the fans.

#7 Roman Reigns vs Rusev

The main event of the evening saw perennial fan favorite – Roman Reigns, defend the World Heavyweight Championship against the Bulgarian Brute Rusev. The crowd was insanely hot for Reigns and rooted for everything the champ did.

Reigns won the match and retained the title with the help of the spear. The bout was filled with dramatic spots that included Rusev faking an injury and the referee getting knocked out. At the end of it all, Reigns stood tall with the title in his hands to give the fans in attendance a moment to remember.
