The Lions won the game and William later visited the Villa players in the dressing room to congratulate them on reaching the showpiece event's final. But it later went on to result in heartbreak as a solitary goal from Roberto Di Matteo sealed a 1-0 win for Chelsea as the Blues lifted the coveted Cup at Wembley.
