Pre-season friendlies fixtures for EPL, La Liga and other top European teams

The 2014 FIFA World Cup finally saw its climax after a full month of scintillatingfootball, and nowmost of the major European teams will be preparing fortheir long, upcoming new season.In this slideshow, we bring you the fixture list of all the major clubs, and thecompetitive friendlies and pre-season tournaments they will be participating in.

#1 Real Madrid

UEFA Champions League winners Real Madrid will be re-visiting the United States of America again for the Internation Champions Cup which is a part of their pre-season preparation. They will be taking on Inter Milan, Manchester United and Roma who have been pooled into Group A, while Group B includes Liverpool, Manchester City, Olympiacos and AC Milan.

The 2013 edition of the tournament was previously won by Real Madrid.

Barcelona had earlier announced on their website that they will be playing five matches for their pre-season preparation, and Serie A side Napoli look like the only team that could pose a real threat to the Catalan side.

#3 Bayern Munich

#4 Arsenal

The fixture list of Arsenal’s pre-season friendlies was announced by the club on their official website, and one of the fours matches will see them facing Arsenal’s all-time leading scorer Thierry Henry’s MLS club New York Red Bulls at the Red Bull Arena in New Jersey.
