#1 Arsenal

• AC Milan are looking to sign Arsenal’s Joel Campbell as a replacement for Mario Balotelli, confirms Mirror.

• Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski edges towards a move away from the Emirates after he misses out of the squad that faced Everton, reports the Daily Mail.

• Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti insists that Arsenal-target Sami Khedira will be staying with the Spanish team, confirms BBC Sports.

• According to Goal, Arsenal are reportedly closing in on the singing of Olympiakos’ defender Kostas Manolas who is touted to be Thomas Vermaelen’s replacement.

#2 Manchester United

• Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti announced that Angel di Maria will be leaving the club, and is expected to hold talks with United next week over a transfer worth up to £56million, reports Sky Sports.
