#1 Arturo Vidal to Manchester United a near possibility

Arturo Vidal to Manchester United doesn’t seem to go away. Various sources have claimed that Vidal is ‘on the brink’ of a stunning move to Old Trafford. Spanish daily Marca have published a story that says the Chilean midfielder has ‘packed his bags for United’.

"I've heard about the rumours, but I haven't spoken more about this subject. I'm very calm, but anyone would love to play for one of the biggest clubs in the world. I'm enjoying my holidays, and when I return to Italy I'll see what happens."

#2 Arsenal are set to beat Chelsea in the race to sign Sami Khedira

Sami Khedira became only the 10th player overall and 3rd Real Madrid player to win the double of Champions League and FIFA World Cup in a single season. According to multiple sources, Khedira looks set to join Mesut Ozil at the Emirates sooner than later. Arsenal are definitely interested and look set to beat Chelsea to the signing of the £24m rated German midfielder.

Several unconfirmed sources in Spain have claimed that the 27-year-old has agreed a £152,000k per week deal, which will keep him in Arsenal for 4 seasons.

#3 Demba Ba to Besiktas, return of Didier Drogba

Although Chelsea have been one of the biggest spenders in the Premier League, reputed English newspaper Telegraph have reported a sensational return of Didier Drogba to Chelsea as player-coach.

It is also reported that the possible departure of Demba Ba is on the cards. Besiktas have expressed interest in taking him on a season long loan, with an option to sign the striker on a permanent basis. The Blues have already signed Diego Costa from Atletico Madrid and with Fernando Torres and Romelu Lukaku, they have enough firepower upfront.

#4 Angel di Maria on the lookout for a new club

Angel di Maria has been linked to two major clubs lately, Manchester United and Paris Saint Germain. Recent reports say that Di Maria has snubbed PSG interest, and is looking for a Premier League club.

This will boost Manchester United’s chances of securing a deal for the Argentinian, but the report also says that he is looking for Champions League football next season, which might mean the Red Devils will look to pursue other transfer targets in this transfer window.

#5 Filipe Luis pushing his move to Chelsea

Atletico Madrid defender Filipe Luis has been forced to train with the reserves ahead of his £16m move to Stamford Bridge. The left back is desperate to move to Chelsea but Atletico are yet to agree a fee with the Premier League giants.

The report also suggests that Luis ignored Atletico’s effort to extend his contract with the Spanish champions.

#6 Iago Aspas to Sevilla?

The Daily Mail have reported that Liverpool forward Iago Aspas is set to join Spanish club Sevilla on a season long loan. The 26-year-old had a disappointing debut at Anfield after signing from Celta Vigo.

The newspaper also reveals that there’s a slim chance of this turning into a permanent deal next season.
