The other side of the battle will see the minnows tried to hold on to the talent they have in their squads.Following are the transfer rumours for 19 November.

#1 La Liga

Valdes might return to Spain

La Liga’s defending champions Barcelona have shown interest in Everton defender John Stones, The Mirror reports. Supposedly, Barcelona scouts were present in Alicante where Spain played England in an international friendly, however, the 21-year old did not feature in the match.

Now that the Blaugrana are showing interest in the youngster, the transfer battle for him between the three clubs, Chelsea, Manchester United and Barcelona can get pretty interesting.

Though, Everton’s Spanish manager, Roberto Martinez has said that none of his best players will not be allowed to leave the club in January. He said, “I’m not worried at all – our best players will not be leaving in January. We’re not in a position where we have to make financial decisions or balance the books.”

Sportsmole reports that Espanyol has registered its interest in Manchester United outcast Victor Valdes. The ex-Barca goalkeeper has been made to train alone by Louis Van Gaal and quite obviously he will want to move to greener pastures come January. Newcastle United are reportedly interested in the Spaniard as well.

#2 English Premier League

Icardi is being tracked by Liverpool

Jose Mourinho is interested in bringing Wesley Sneijder to Chelsea, The Express reports. Mourinho previously managed the Dutch playmaker during his time at Inter Milan. Manchester United has time and again unsuccessfully submitted their interest in the Galatasaray player, but Chelsea will hope that they can convince Sneijder to reunite with the manager with whom he won the Champions League.

According to Daily Mail, the defending champions are also believed to go back in for John Stones, as their summer defending recruit Papy Djilobodji is not expected to fill in the shoes of John Terry. Djilobodji has only played ‘one minute’ for Chelsea since joining them from Nantes in the summer.

The Mirror reports that Jurgen Klopp wants to bring Mauro Icardi to Liverpool in the January transfer window. The Inter Milan striker has a buy-out clause of €35m (£24.5m), which the Merseyside club must trigger if they want to land the 22-year old. Icardi previously said that he would be honoured to join a top Premier League club.

"If the ones [rumours] about United, Chelsea and Liverpool were real, I would be honoured, because they are big clubs, but I'm already in a great team where I can win something important," he said in February.

Valencia defender Aymen Abdennour has said that Chelsea showed interest in his signing during the summer transfer window, Metro reports. The defender who played for Monaco last season moved to Valencia despite the interest shown in him.

“Yes, it is true that there was interest,” Abdennour told Super Deporte when asked about Chelsea’s attempts to sign him.

Alexis Sanchez is expected to sign a contract extension with Arsenal which can keep him at the club till 2020, The Mirror reports. He currently earns £130,000-a-week and the extension means that he can earn up to £150,000 in a contract worth £40million for five years.

#3 Rest of Europe

Aubameyang has already scored 23 goals this season

Alvaro Morata might move back to his boyhood club, Real Madrid, according to Italian daily, Gazetta dello Sport. The Spanish youngster will move back to the club in case Cristiano Ronaldo leaves the Santiago Bernabeu for Manchester United or Paris Saint-Germain.

It is believed that he has a buy-back clause and Morata admitted the fact in an interview to Radio Marca. "What the papers say about there being a buyback clause for me to go back to Real Madrid is true,” said 23-year old.

Borussia Dortmund superstar Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is being tracked by a host of top European clubs after a tremendous start to this season where he has scored 23 goals thus far.

Metro reports that Dortmund has slapped a £42million buy-out tag on the Gabon international, and clubs like Barcelona and Arsenal who are reportedly monitoring him should pay at least that amount to lure him away from Westfalenstadion.
