The sequels also feature character transformations which make the player stronger for a temporary amount of time.

In the first game, only Goku is playable, while the sequels allowed Gohan, Goten, Trunks (kid and future), Piccolo, Vegeta, and Hercule. One of the great features is the ability to now save your favorite fights to your hard disk for later viewing. It also features the ability to transform into a great Ape by using the power of the moon, and also changing the aura of the character.

One of the best features is a global ranking system, which allows you to challenge any players who have played online. There are over 20 battle stages, and the graphics and the fighting styles feel as smooth and refined as you’d like. The overall game feels just right, and there can be no doubt that this is one of the best DBZ games of them all.
