Many fan favourite players aren’t included in this list as they were rated either 80 or below in this game.Here is the list of the best left-backs in Pro Evolution Soccer 2015.

#10 Marcelo

We start off with Brazil and Real Madrid left-back Marcelo. He has transformed into one of the best attacking wing back in the modern game. He is fast, can dribble, defend, pass and also chip in some valuable goals. He is rated 81 in this game, one less than his rating (82) in FIFA 15.

Marcelo has been praised by many football legends as the best in this position and even world’s best left back Roberto Carlos mentioned that Marcelo was his heir and possesses better technical abilities than him. He has also scored 15 goals in 212 appearences for Real Madrid.

#9 Guilherme Siqueira

Guilherme Siqueira currently plays for La Liga Champions Atletico Madrid. He is rated 81 in this game. He started his youth career with Inter Milan, before signing with Udinese, were he established himself as a regular in 2006-07 season.

He signed with Spanish side Granada and played a crucial part in helping them secure promotion to First division. He was sent to Benfica on a season-long loan deal on the very last minutes of the transfer deadline day.

It was rumoured that Real Madrid bid for him in the summer, but this news was later denied by the club's president, Enrique Pina.

#8 Fabio Coentrao

Fabio Coentrao is rated 81 in the game and currently plays for the European Champions Real Madrid. He primarily plays as a left back but can also play anywhere in the midfield position. He even played as Defensive midfielder in his debut season El Classico against Barcelona.

#7 Marcio Azevedo

Marcio Azevedo is a Brazilian left back who is currently playing for Ukranian side Shakhtar Donetsk. He spent his footballing career in Brazilian sides Atletico Paranaense, Botafogo before signing up with Metalist Kharkiv.

He is an offensive fullback and is rated 82 in this game. He is the only left back to have an attribute of 80 for Goalkeeping in this game.

#6 Benoit Tremoulinas

Benoit Tremoulinas currently plays for the UEFA Europa League Champions Sevilla. He was signed as a replacement to Alberto Moreno, who is currently playing with Liverpool. Benoit played for Russian side Dynamo Kviv last season, before signing with the Europa League Champions. He is comfortable playing as both left back and as left midfielder.

#5 Uwa Elderson

The 26-year-old Nigerian footballer, Elderson Uwa Echiejile, is the fifth best left back in PES 2015. He is rated 83 in this game. He began his senior career with the French side Stade Rennais F.C., before moving to Braga.

He signed with AS Monaco football team after spending four seasons in Braga. This season for Monaco he has started in eight games and scored one goal.

#4 Jordi Alba

Jordi Alba misses the top three spot for best left back by just one point. He is rated 83 in this game, one point below Leighton Baines, who is rated 84. He had a seven year youth spell with Barcelona before moving to Valencia where he developed into a complete full back.

He returned to Barcelona in 2012 and since then cemented his position as the first choice left back for the Blaugrana and the Spain national team.

#3 Leighton Baines

England and Everton’s first choice left back, Leighton Baines is the third best left back in PES 2015. He is a terrific set-piece specialist and a penalty taker. For a left back, he has scored 23 goals in 245 appearences for Everton.

He is rated 84 in PES 2015 compared to his 82 in FIFA 15. Last season, Baines scored five goals and assisted four more during the campaign, the most by any defender in the league.

#2 Filipe Luis

Filipe Luís was nominated alongside Sergio Ramos and Miranda, as the best defender in La Liga for his impressive performances last season with Atletico Madrid. He was part of a stellar defense, that only conceded 26 league goals in 38 games as Atletico won the league title for the first time in 18 years.

Filipe is a tireless left back, who can deliver some excellent crosses at times. He signed with Premier League heavyweights Chelsea this season. He is rated 85 in this game.

#1 David Alaba

Topping the list is 22-year-old Austrian, David Alaba. He is rated 87 in this game, compared to his meagre 82 in FIFA 15. He is versatile and can play as either a midfielder or a winger. His rise to this top spot is phenomenal, as he made impressive performances for Munich last season and helped them regain thier league title.

Thanks to former Bayern Munich coach Jupp Heynckes, as he is the one who saw Alaba’s potential in left back position. Alaba blossomed at left back under him and has cemented the position as the first choice left back for the German Champions.
