The greatest tennis players on the planet will grace the tennis courts in India for the Indian Premier Tennis League (IPTL). For the first time, the players will take part in a unique league, which is set to entertain the fans with some fascinating clashes of the best tennis players.Here are the top 10 players to participate in the IPTL.

#10 Carlos Moya

Former World. No. 1 Carlos Moya is one of legends playing at in the IPTL. The Spaniard, known for his long hair and clay court play, won the French Open in 1998. He managed to reach the 1997 Australian Open final but was unable to lift the crown. Moya helped Spain win the 2004 Davis Cup title.

The 38-year-old will play for the Philippines team in the IPTL.

#9 Jo-Wilfried Tsonga

Currently ranked 11th in the world, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga will be a strong force in the IPTL. He is a constant presence at Grand Slams and often proves to be a stern test for the likes of Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal.

#3 Serena Williams

World No. 1 and current US Open champion Serena Williams has won everything there has to be won in tennis. She has 18 Grand Slam singles titles, 2012 Olympic singles gold medal, 13 Grand Slam doubles titles, 2000, 2008 and 2012 Olympic doubles gold medals and two mixed doubles Grand Slam titles. Williams has also won the Fed Cup and Hopman Cup to add to her trophy cabinet.

The American will be a sensation throughout the IPTL. She plays with a smile on her face and often entertains the crowd. The fans will want more of the same from the 33-year-old when she plays for the Singapore team.

#2 Novak Djokovic

World. No. 1 Novak Djokovic is one of the biggest stars of the IPTL. Djokovic has seven Grand Slam titles to his name including a Wimbledon title this year. The Serb has been in fine form throughout the year. He is well known for his mimicry of other tennis players.

Many have called Roger Federer the greatest tennis player of all time. He has a record to certainly prove it. Federer is without doubt the biggest name in the IPTL. The 17-time Grand Slam champion has won 80 career titles and boasts an 81 percent winning record. He also holds countless records and has been ranked World No. 1 for 302 weeks in total.

Leading the Indian Aces, Federer will make a lot of fans’ dreams come true when he plays in India.
