#1 Jack Wilshere

England International Jack Wilshere will return to full fitness before than earlier expected. The 22-year-old sustained a hairline fracture in his left foot in the first week of March against Denmark.

Wilshere will give a much needed boost to Arsenal, who are facing genuine challenge to finish above Everton in the Premier League table to qualify for next season's Champions League.

"It's all going well for Jack, but he has not started to run, I think that's planned next week," said Gunners' manager Arsene Wenger.

Meanwhile, injured Arsenal duo Laurent Koscielny and Mesut Ozil should return to full fitness by early next week.

Atletico Madrid striker Diego Cost featured in the Spanish club's training session just two days after missing the second leg of the Champions League quarter final against Barcelona.

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero will return to action for a potential title deciding match against Liverpool this Sunday.

The 25-year-old striker was sidelined for a month with a hamstring injury but is expected to start for Pellegrini's men at Anfield after returning to full fitness last week.

Aguero's Man City will head into this game knowing that a win over Liverpool will provide them a significant advantage in the title race. While Liverpool, who look set to end their 24-year-title drought, have to face title challengers Chelsea at Anfield in two weeks' time as well.

#4 Cristiano Ronaldo

Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo will almost certainly miss next Wednesday's Copa del Rey final against Barcelona. Ronaldo has picked up a hamstring injury on his left leg as reportedly published by Real Madrid.

The former Manchester United winger failed to feature in the La Liga game against Real Sociedad as well as in the second leg of Champions League quarter final against Borussia Dortmund in Germany.

Ronaldo is expected to miss at least two weeks and his return date is not yet known for now.

England striker Wayne Rooney will reportedly miss the remainder of the Premier League season for Manchester United. The 28-year-old, who played for 90 minutes in Reds' 3-1 defeat against Bayern Munich on Wednesday, is suffering from a chipped bone in his toe.

The news comes as a blow for Manchester United boss David Moyes, who is hopeful of ending the season on high after a disappointing start to his Old Trafford career.

It is not clear yet whether Rooney's injury will affect his participation for the Three Lions in the FIFA World Cup this summer in Brazil.
