Top 5 most underrated NBA players

Here are the top 5 most underrated NBA players, in my opinion:

#1 Wesley Matthews

He could be regarded as one of the 15 best shooting guards in the league. This season he's averaged 16 points thus far. He has yet to make an All-star appearance, and now that Portland has Lamarcus and Damian it will be hard for Wesley to show the world how good he really is.

#2 Chandler Parsons

Chandler Parsons has been amazing since being drafted in the second round of the 2011 NBA draft. He's averaging 16 points a game, and that is very good considering that Houston already has James Harden and Dwight Howard. He is still very young, and could be a future All-star.

#3 Jose Calderon

The Spanish point guard was a brilliant passer when he played in Toronto. He had two seasons where he was getting close to nine assists a game, and yet still barely anyone outside of Toronto and Spain knew who he was. Not only is he a good passer, he's also an excellent 3 point shooter. This year he's ranked fourth in 3 point field goal percentage.

#4 Al Jefferson

He is arguably one of the top 5 centres in the sport, and yet he has never made an All-star game. This year he's averaging 22 points and 10 rebounds, and throughout his career those numbers have been more or less the same. It's odd that he has never attended an All-star game.

#5 Monta Ellis

Now this one may be odd, but believe it or not Monta Ellis has NEVER made an All-star game. His career averages are 19 points, 5 assists and 4 rebounds a game - those numbers show that Monta is one of the best shooting guards in the league. When you are averaging numbers like those, it's almost expected that you would make an All-star game. I believe that Monta Ellis has the potential to be in the Hall of Fame after he retires.
