The rumors mills were in full swing this week after WWE shocked the wrestling world by releasing one of the best in ring workers in the form of Alberto Del Rio.There is a plethora of stories making the round suggesting thee reason behind surprise incident and apparently WWE is sticking with the official story of Del Rios unprofessional conduct.TNA was in the spotlight again this week as it failed to clear the air on Spike situation.NXT superstars getting a call up found places in the speculation list whilenews about possible additions to the already packed SummerSlam card were also doing rounds. And just like every week, here is the pick of the rumors from the past seven days and their break down.

#5 Charlotte and Kalisto to get call up

NXT call ups have been more than successful for the WWE apart from a few cases like Adam Rose. And the next batch of superstars intake to the main roster might just be made up for the NXT women’s champion Charlotte and exciting luchador Kalisto.

Charlotte, who is the daughter of Hall of famer, Ric Flair is considered to be too good for NXT after she proved herself by giving one of the best matches of the year against Natalya. The only thing that holds her back from being called up is the title which is a situation that looks set to change at NXT Takeover II.

Meanwhile, Kalisto is an Indy darling who managed to build a good fan base in the limited time he had at NXT. The call up of Kalisto is rumored to be WWE’s latest attempt to crack the Mexico market after the release of Alberto Del Rio. Speaking of which…

#4 TNA or AAA to sign Alberto Del Rio

Like always, one promotion’s trash is another promotion’s gold. To be precise, anything which WWE releases might end up in TNA. After Del Rio’s release, this was the reason why TNA found a place amidst all the chaotic news despite being neck deep in trouble.

Being such a decorated in ring worker, Del Rio is sure to continue working between the ropes even after WWE let him go. The only question is the place he will end up in.

TNA and AAA are the two promotions in the mix to snatch him up. The later has a better financial position and could afford Del Rio for the longer run while a TNA move pokes up the possibility of another war between the Dixie Carter and Vince McMahon.

Only time would tell where Del Rio would go next to entertain the fans and where ever he goes, he probably wouldn’t do the mistakes he did at WWE.

#3 The Usos vs Rybaxel vs The Wyatt Family vs SlaterGator at SummerSlam

The position of the tag team division was up for debate after WrestleMania and it reached its epitome of confusion when the WWE refused to give a good match for the same with just one week to go for SummerSlam.

That situation however looks all set to change according to the rumors as the company seems to be planning a fatal four way tag team match for the titles at SummerSlam.

The teams include Usos, Wyatt Family, Rybaxel and a surprise entry of Slator Gator instead of the Dust Brothers who have been carrying a good momentum.

The match despite the botched booking would receive good response from the fans because after all they are going to see Heath Slater wrestling in the biggest party of the summer.

#2 Triple H to be special guest referee for Brie Bella vs Stephanie McMahon

The level of excitement for the Stephanie Brie bout is at an all-time high after the divas headlined Raw on two separate occasions.

Last week in particular made the headlines more as they signed a contract in presence of Triple H. Hunter gave an advantage to his wife while both Nikki and Brie was knocked out with a pedigree.

Now the latest rumor that is making the rounds about the feud is Hunter being the special guest referee for the match. It would certain stack the odds against Brie further while opening up the door for Bryan to make a surprise appearance to level the numbers game.

Also Hunter being the referee lets Nikki pull of her rumored heel turn which makes it a win win situation for everyone involved.

#1 Daniel Bryans return set for Royal Rumble

This might go down in the books as a big blow for the fans who are expecting to see Bryan make a big return before the year ends.

The injury that he picked up is apparently worse than everyone initially thought and might keep him out of the ring for the longer run. Inserting Bryan into the main event scene after such a lay off might sound like a long shot making WWE go for the easier option.

Royal Rumble has been the place for big returns almost on all the editions and the company wants Bryan to play the role next year.

A return at Rumble would put him well for the next edition of WrestleMania and might be the best booking decision that WWE could make after his injury.
