This year’s ratings are already out and this article will take a look at the a part of the top 50 FIFA 16 player ratings. Here are the players who make it to 50-41 places of the FIFA 2016 ratings.

#10 Angel Di Maria (50)

Despite a promising start in England with Manchester United, the Argentine soon lost form and was shipped to Paris Saint Germain this season after a fallout with manager Louis Van Gaal. Di Maria took no time to make his mark with PSG, and notched a delicious assist to Ezequiel Lavezzi just 17 minutes into his debut.

The 27-year-old’s rating has gone down by a point in FIFA 16, where he is rated an 85, due to his challenging season with Manchester United, but could very well go up if he continues playing the way he did on his PSG debut.

#9 Petr Cech (49)

Undoubtedly one of the signings of the summer, Cech raised a lot of eyebrows when he made a switch to Arsenal from arch rivals Chelsea. Despite a horrendous debut against West Ham, Cech went back to being the world class goalkeeper we know and love in the next game against Liverpool as well as the earlier Community Shield game against his former side Chelsea. The goalkeeper gets an 85 rating in FIFA 16 and unsurprisingly remains one of the game’s best goalkeepers.

#8 Edinson Cavani (48)

The lethal striker continues to have the time of his life at PSG and although his rating has gone down a bit in FIFA 16, that should do little to affect his goalscoring prowess. Cavani, although aging, remains an excellent striker and is a perfect fit for gamers who want their teams to hit the ground running immediately. EA Sports have given him an 85 rating in FIFA 16, which is liable to change anytime.

The 29-year-old gets an 85 rating in FIFA 16, which is one less than the previous instalment, but as they say – form is temporary, class is permanent.

Bayern Munich left-back David Alaba is an undoubted talent, and could very well mature to become one of the best in his position. Although he was recently in the news for the wrong reasons, courtesy of his misplaced pass leading to the quickest goal scored in the Bundesliga, his assets outweigh his liabilities 10 to 1.

EA seemed to have noticed his good form too and have upgraded his rating from 82 to an 85 in FIFA 16, making him one of the best left backs in the game with the potential to become better. Left backs are like rare birds, and Alaba’s certainly one to add to your team.

Terry’s stock may have gone down with his manager this season, but the same can’t be said for the veteran last season, whose excellent form was a key factor in Chelsea lifting the title. A true Rolls Royce. The Englishman has been boosted with an extra two points this season and now commands a rating of 85. This is the last time we’re likely to see such a high rating for Terry so players should relish this.

A key figure during Wolfsburg’s superb 2014/2015 season during which they finished as runners up to Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga, Ronaldo Rodrigues, popularly known as Naldo isn’t a man. He’s a mountain. Standing at 6’6, Naldo easily towers over his opposition and is an intimidating figure in the heart of defence.

Despite being 32, Naldo hasn’t let his age affect his performance and plays as if he were one of the youngsters. His spectacular form has been rewarded with an 85 rating in FIFA 16, making him a perfect fit for any Ultimate Team.

City had somewhat of a disappointing season by their standards last campaign, which took its toll on Toure too, but he’s come back better than ever this season and has stated that he’s determined to get Manchester City back to their robust best. By the looks of things he’s already helping them do just that and is back to the form that gave the opposition nightmares during his time in the Premier League.

The man-tank has been given a rating of 85 in FIFA 16, which is one down from the previous instalment, but that shouldn’t stop him from being as brilliant in the game as he is in real life. Plus, who’s to say that his rating won’t get an update later this year?
